50% My Hero Academia: I'm the real Hero. / Chapter 1: Transmigrated.

Capítulo 1: Transmigrated.

Opening my eyes, I was in a limbo state, truly without any feelings—a bizarre sensation.

Heh, I had a date tomorrow. Guess that will have to be forgotten now that I've reached the end of the road.

"I suppose you have to," a voice said with what I thought was compassion.

"I'll make it clear—you're struggling to accept that you're dead." What a way to pour cold water on my hope.

Well, what now? Guess I'll try to sleep. I closed my eyes and tried to drift off.

...

...

...

"Well, this is not working," the voice commented again as I opened my eyes and sighed.

"Yeah, it doesn't."

"How about we make a deal?" the voice asked once more. Even though I couldn't perceive its intentions, this time it held a hint of excitement.

"What deal?" I asked slowly, still suspicious as hell.

"You get to live again, in another universe. And I get entertainment."

Now, isn't this a cliché scenario? Heh.

"Fuck it, it's not like I have a choice." I sighed and nodded. "Very well, I'll be your entertainment."

"Great! The universe is already chosen—it's the My Hero Academia world."

Yeah, that's quite a shitty world with All For One and Shigaraki. But I guess this is actually quite acceptable—thank God it's not Berserk.

"Okay, so how do I survive in that world? Can I pick a quirk I'll get?" I asked with a small bit of naïve hope. If I can't even pick the quirk, then I'm doomed.

"Yes, you can pick the quirk you'll get, but only the ones from that world—no others," the voice said, pausing for a second. "Also, no picking All For One or One For All."

"I see, then I choose Overhaul," I said, straightforward and honest.

"Nope. That quirk is also in the same category as One For All and All For One, including New Order." And my hopes were immediately shot down by whoever this asshole was.

"Then a Copy quirk; I can copy other quirks with it," I said without much thought, and the answer was immediate.

"Accepted."

"Also, I'm not going to survive and entertain you with just that; I'll be too weak, don't you think?" I asked with a smile.

"Hm, I guess that's also possible since I'm going to dump you into the body of Neito Monoma at the time of the UA entrance exam."

What the fuck? "Dude, don't you think I'll just die there? I'll need some kind of muscle memory to even do anything."

"Alright, I'll give you a part of myself." A glow appeared in front of me, a raw gold and silver energy in the shape of a circle.

"This is the Essence of the Blank. This will give you unlimited potential. Beware: you cannot just use any and all Quirks just because you wish it."

"Hm," I nodded.

"It will ensure that you now have no upper limits; you can train your quirk, and it will get stronger and stronger."

I sighed, relaxing a bit. Phew, at least I'll survive and have a relatively easy life there.

"Don't relax just yet. If you don't entertain me, know that your life is forfeit. You will appear here and be alone with me forever in this space."

Fuck, this is a hard pill to swallow, knowing that I'm dancing to someone or something's tune.

"Don't blame me; you accepted the deal rather happily."

Fuck! This bastard—he read my mind.

"Yeah, whatever, dude. Just put me in there. Goodbye; I wish I never see you again," I said, looking around, feeling impatient already.

"The feeling is entirely mutual." The sound then disappeared, and I blacked out.

Opening my eyes, I found myself on a bus full of people—some were weird, like the pink-skinned alien queen sitting at the front.

I tried to feel my quirk. Focusing on myself, I sensed it, and all the knowledge of how to use it and what its current limits were rushed into my head.

'So, ten minutes, huh?' I thought as I nodded to myself. Currently, I could copy and use a quirk for ten minutes before losing it.

I turned my head to the right and saw Pikachu—Denki Kaminari—himself sitting next to me.

'I should copy his quirk when we leave the bus,' I thought before looking at him and extending my hand toward him.

"My name's Neito Monoma. You can call me Monoma. What about you?" I asked while smiling. Of course, he responded. He was a typical airhead.

"Denki Kaminari, nice to meet you, Monoma!" he exclaimed with a smile, prompting the entire bus to look at us.

"Nice to meet you, Kaminari." I copied his quirk as soon as his hand touched mine, feeling energy rush through my body. Of course, I didn't release it.

This bus would've toppled if I did. And I don't want that.

"So, what is your quirk?" I asked Kaminari as a pretense, since I shouldn't have any knowledge of him.

"Oh, it's Electrification. It allows me to store and release electricity. It's pretty cool! Yours?" He happily divulged the information about his quirk.

"Copy. I can copy the quirk of anyone I've touched," I said while looking at him with a smile. His eyes widened as he looked at me and then at his hands.

"Holy shit! That's so cool, man!" He practically became a loudspeaker as he shouted it out.

"Shh! Shh." I placed a finger on my lips as I looked around. He looked at me and sheepishly chuckled.

"Sorry about that. Hehehe." Rubbing the back of his head, he shook off the embarrassing look from his face before looking at me with stars in his eyes.

"Dude, show me." Looking at him, I couldn't help but raise my hand and release a small bit of energy I'd stored. Small bolts of blue lightning appeared on my hand, crackling with the sound of electricity.

"So cool."

'I agree; I am kind of cool.' I smiled as I thought to myself.

We talked for some time before the bus came to a stop. I looked at him and smiled. I had come to like him a bit; he was a good guy and would be a good friend.

"Well, it seems like we're here," I said, standing up with my hands in my pockets.

I was about to lose the quirk in another five minutes or so, but I'd just copy it once more before I entered the mock city.
