Capítulo 148: SOONER OR LATER

"That's simply because I can't do it all alone", said Madam Laura.

"What do you mean?" Felicia asked the woman.

Sighing, the woman said, "I need help if I want to leave here. I can't do it all alone".

"How about those lackeys of yours? Don't you trust them?" Felicia asked and Madam Laura nodded.

"They are only being close to me because they know what am capable of", she said. "But behind my back, they are talking rubbish about me."

"Of course they would, you are a heartless woman", said Felicia and she ended up receiving a glare from Madam Laura. "Sorry," she mumbled softly.

"No problem, so what do you say?" she asked.

Felicia gave it some thought before she spoke,

"How am I sure that you wouldn't turn your back on me and report me to the wardens?"

"I won't do that because I know that you will also expose me which will only lead to the both of us getting punished by those wardens", Madam Laura replied.
