Capítulo 239: The missing ingredients

Abigail and Leena gathered dry twigs and leaves and set up a small bonfire just in front of the monastery. Though there weren't any clouds in the sky, the temperature was beginning to drop rapidly due to the chilly winds blowing from the south.

Leena brought Master Arwin close to the fire and laid him down on a clean jacket. With her pendant in hand, she started chanting the sacred healing incantation to try and slow the progress of the disease.

Abigail could see the old man was hanging onto dear life by a thread and wanted to do everything he could to help him out. 

"I'll get the water ready."

Abigail drained two flasks of water into an aluminum mug he had been carrying and placed it on top of the fire. He then took out a few rations he had brought from his village and handed a few canned items to Leena.

"Eat, you're gonna need the energy to keep going."
