Capítulo 137: Dark mutation

Confronted with an entity that was far more powerful than any Ethereal or illusion Xander had ever faced, he had no choice but to resort to the most desperate measures. The Swamp Deidra had already killed him once and mutated into a greater threat. He simply couldn't afford another botch up.

As soon as Xander stepped out into the open, ripples spread across the water's surface. The foliage parted in the middle as long red tentacles slithered out of the murky depths, followed by the emergence of a massive bulbous head with three pairs of filthy yellow eyes glowing on top.

The Mutated Elder Swamp Deidra towered over Xander, its nefarious presence casting a dark shadow over the swamp. With a low gurgling noise, the Swamp Deidra lifted its mouth out of the water and opened its gaping maw which now looked like a dark pit filled with razor-sharp teeth.
