Just then Jacob remembered Lysandra. 'Huh! Lysandra, I totally forgot about her,' Jacob thought before he quickly ran to the room where he left her unconscious body.
Jacob burst into the room, his heart pounding in his chest as he laid eyes upon Lysandra. She lay motionless on the cold floor, the effects of the dark energy evident on her pale face. Her breathing was shallow, and time seemed to stand still as Jacob knelt beside her, a rush of worry flooding over him.
Gently, Jacob cradled Lysandra's head in his hands, whispering words of encouragement and reassurance. "Lysandra, wake up. You're going to be okay. We defeated Rahap, but we still need you here with us."
As if responding to his voice, Lysandra stirred, her eyelids fluttering. Slowly, her eyes opened, revealing a mix of confusion and pain. With a weak smile, she mustered the strength to speak. "Jacob...Is it over? Am I free from Rahap's grasp?"
