Without even giving a glance at the book Jacob wanted to take, the librarian just gave him the go-ahead to take the book.
Jacob left the library and headed back to his room with the book. As he reached his room, the door stood closed, devoid of the presence of his roommates, Adam and Ray.
Without hesitation, Jacob crossed the threshold and approached his sturdy desk, carefully placing the weathered book upon it. The anticipation gripped him as he settled into his chair,
With trembling hands, Jacob attempted to open the book, but its ancient lock held firm, resisting his every effort. Frustration brewed within him, yet his determination burned brighter.
Again and again, he attempted to try to open the book's delicate pages, disregarding the pain that surged through his thumb with each failed attempt, he mistakenly cut his thumb and he began to bleed and a drop of his blood fell on the book.
As the drop of blood sank into the page, an ethereal aura enveloped the room, emanating a surge of energy that Jacob could feel tingling within his veins. The book trembled, its bindings loosening, as if awakened by the offering of his sacrifice.
A surge of anticipation washed over Jacob as the book finally yielded, its pages creaking open with a reverent sigh. A kaleidoscope of ancient symbols and languages he could not understand greeted his eyes.
As the book's pages faded away, crumbling into specks of dust, a mystical energy enveloped the room. The room seemed to transform before his eyes, its walls shifting and pulsating with an otherworldly power.
But his astonishment quickly turned into terror as he was suddenly thrust backward, his body hurtling through the air. With a resounding thud, he collided with the wall, pain shooting through his skull. "Argh!" he cried out, clutching his head in agony.
To his dismay, Jacob discovered that his body no longer obeyed his commands. His limbs felt disconnected, and a force beyond his comprehension seemed to govern his every movement.
Panic gripped his heart as he struggled to regain control, his voice trembling with fear. "What is this? What is happening to me?" he questioned, desperation tainting his words.
The next second, his mouth began to open he tried to fight it but whatever this force was, it is much stronger than him. He felt something entering his mouth but he couldn't see what it was.
*Arrrghh!*
He screamed as this unseen made its way into his body and in the process, a system notification appeared in front of his eyes.

With a piercing cry that echoed through the room, Jacob's descent abruptly halted as he crashed onto the floor. Pain reverberated through his body, throbbing in tandem with his racing heart. Slowly, he lifted his head, his eyes widened in terror as he beheld his reflection in a nearby mirror.
The once familiar azure of his eyes had vanished, replaced by an inky darkness that consumed his very essence.
His pupils had dilated to an extent that seemed impossible, swallowing any trace of color or light. It was as if the abyss itself had taken residence within his gaze.
Fear gripped Jacob's soul, tendrils of dread slithering through his veins.
What has become of me? What sinister forces had tainted my very being? Questions flooded his mind, their weight threatening to engulf him in a sea of uncertainty.
Just then, his two roommates Adam and Ray returned from their tour. As they opened the door, the first thing they saw was Jacob on the floor and the whole room was completely scattered.
They both ran up to him and tried to lift him. "What happened?" Adam asked, Jacob tried to answer but he was too weak to even speak.
"I think it was a robbery, we should take him to the school nurse she would be able to help, then we can report this issue," Ray suggested.
Just as Adam and Ray were busy in their conversation, Jacob could feel his head rolling and in the next second he fell and collapsed.
Ray quickly stretched out his right palm and immediately green leafs gathered up from something like a bed and Jacob fell on it.
"Wow nice save, and your ability is beautiful," Adam complimented Ray.
"Yeah! Thank you, but we have to take him to the nurse now," Ray said.
Ray controlled the green leaf bed as it floated in the air carrying Jacob along. They headed to the nurse gathering the attention of the students on the way.
While all this was happening, Jacob's mind had traveled to a strange dimension, it was as if he was unconscious and still conscious all at the same time.

Jacob Cautiously looks around in a strange realm, he spots a figure lurking in the shadows.
"Who... Who are you?" he questioned.
The figure Emerg from the darkness, its eyes gleaming with malevolence.
-"Ah, I see you found your way into my domain. You may call me Raphael."
"Raphael? What do you want from me? Why am I here?"
A sinister smile spreads across his face. "Ah, young one, I seek nothing more than a mutually beneficial arrangement."
"I can grant you unimaginable power, untold abilities beyond your wildest dreams. In exchange, I ask for a small favor: allow me to possess you, to reside within your mortal vessel.
"Possess me? Why would I ever agree to that? I have my own will, my own life to live. "
"Power, ... power isn't everything. I've seen what it can do to people, corrupting their souls and destroying their humanity. I won't become a pawn of darkness, "Jacob replied with determination.
"Oh! Boy I'm not evil, I have no atom of darkness in me. "
"You fool! You cannot comprehend what you are turning away from. This is your final chance, mortal. Embrace me, and the world shall kneel before you. Reject me, and you shall be but a mere speck in the annals of history."
"I do not want the world to kneel before me, I'm not a God and I don't care if my name doesn't go down in history. "
Raphael began Growling in frustration, his form flickering.
"So be it, I tried asking the easy way but you prove to be stubborn I will have it my way then. "
Raphael ran towards Jacob at speed, Jacob tried to run but Raphael was too fast for him to outrun.
