YOO-MI’s POV
The windows were glowing yellow when I pulled up, every light in the house were on. I’ve never been more grateful to come home to someone. After the weird encounter with the stranger at the grocery store, I haven’t wanted to be alone.
Josh was waiting in front of the house and as soon as I turned off the engine, he opened the door to Honey’s side and carried her out. I shoved the things under my arm and walked to the front door.
Josh followed behind and he walked upstairs to bring Honey in their bedroom who fell asleep to our way home, while I walked into the kitchen and put down all the bags on the table and I felt my knees weakened when I remember what happened.
“Yoo-Mi,” Josh called out. “Are you okay?”
I shook my head and suddenly the tear slipped down on my face. He pulled me closer and I sobbed on his shoulder.
“Sshh…,” he whispered as he caressed my back. “It’s okay, Yoo-Mi. I got you.” his arms sliding around to hold me in a tight embrace.
