It was the fifth time I asked in an hour and so I let the fact that she didn't dignify my question with an answer go this time. It was juvenile of me, but traveling at such a slow pace for two days was getting on my nerves.

We were finally at the wild west town.

The sooner we began, the sooner we would end the meeting, and the sooner I would receive the news I have been wanting to hear for days. The divide and conquer crap wasn't working well for me. I should've been the one to get in and then get her the hell out of there.

"Damn it…" I spat the words out.

"…You know, Theo, I think I liked you better when you didn't talk," Monica said sarcastically.

I wasn't in the mood to argue with her, it was best to avoid speaking to each other. We both had issues with anger management nowadays.
