After the doctor left the room, Li Zi Yun said to Wang Yu, "You must be hungry. I'll get you some porridge."
Wang Yu did not let Li Zi Yun get up. He said. "Inform my men. They will get it. You stay by my side"
Wang Yu was expecting Li Zi Yun to bombard him with questions, but Li Zi Yun did not ask a single word about where he went. He looked at Li Zi Yun's face quietly for some time. She looked so thin and fragile.
So Wang Yu asked Li Zi Yun, "Aren't you curious about what happened?"
Li Zi Yun really wanted to know where Wang Yu was for the past two days, but she kept her curiosity at bay. This was not the Wang Yu she had seen before two days. He looked weak. Though Li Zi Yun wanted to get out all information from him, Wang Yu was her husband and he will be with her most of the time. So Wang Yu couldn't escape or evade her questions later on even if he wanted to. Li Zi Yun thought of waiting till Wang Yu was better or wait till he is ready to tell her on his own.
Li Zi Yun said, "I am… But I don't want you to be hungry for the sake of my curiosity"
After hearing that Wang Yu had woken from Zhou Nan Xi, Liu Guang had rushed to the hospital with the porridge. Wang Yu wanted to speak to Assistant Liu Guang alone but Li Zi Yun did not leave his side even for a second, so he did not get the opportunity.
Li Zi Yun took the bowl in her hand and fed Wang Yu after cooling it down. She did not leave his side even for a second. Wang Yu wanted to leave the hospital but he stayed there for few hours just for Li Zi Yun's satisfaction. The Wang family came to the hospital to look after Wang Yu, but seeing Li Zi Yun staying there with him, they left after some time. The entire family was relieved only after getting the news that Wang Yu had woke up. They had expected Wang Yu to return home as soon as he woke up, but to their surprise, Wang Yu stayed like an obedient child in the hospital.
But soon Wang Yu was getting bored, he wanted to return home. He knew that Li Zi Yun would not agree if he asked her directly, but still he thought of trying once more.
Wang Yu started again, "Take me home. I don't want to stay here for one more second"
Li Zi Yun was adamant, "The doctor wanted you here for four days. So you will stay here"
Wang Yu had been trying for some time to somehow go home but Li Zi Yun did not agree no matter how much he pleaded. He decided to change his strategy.
Wang Yu said in a low voice, "Do you think it's a burden to look after me? Is that why you want me to stay here?"
Li Zi Yun certainly did not expect this from Wang Yu, "What? Nonsense!"
With a sad face Wang Yu said, "It's okay. I can stay here… in this hospital… alone…"
Wang Yu turned on the bed, with his back facing Li Zi Yun, but not before she saw the smile on his face. Li Zi Yun understood what Wang Yu was trying to do.
Li Zi Yun hated hospitals and seeing Wang Yu nagging her, she thought it was better to rest at home. Since Wang Yiran was in coma, everything needed for treatment was in the Wang Residence and going home would not be a bad idea.
Li Zi Yun sighed, "Your plan worked. We are leaving right now to the Wang Residence and the doctor will be checking up on you daily"
This was just what Wang Yu was hoping Li Zi Yun would say. But he wanted to go to either his penthouse or Li Zi Yun's place. He wanted some time alone with his wife and any place other than Wang Residence will be perfect for that.
Wang Yu started to argue, "But…"
Li Zi Yun stopped him, "No this is final. Don't argue"
Wang Yu stayed quiet. He thought of using the same tactic in a couple of days if Li Zi Yun did not agree.
Hearing the news that Wang Yu was injured, Wu Qing came to visit Wang Yu along with Xie Qiao. When Wu Qing came to visit Wang Yu in the office that day, he had no idea that Wang Yu was missing.
Xie Qiao rushed towards Li Zi Yun as soon as he saw her, "Are you fine now? I heard you were not feeling well" saying that Xie Qiao went to Li Zi Yun's side.
Wang Yu was glaring at Wu Qing for bringing Xie Qiao to the hospital.
Wang Yu growled, "Stop right there"
Li Zi Yun was seeing Xie Qiao for the first time after she had married Wang Yu. She saw that Xie Qiao was only joking but her jealous husband was not ready to let any man even joke with her.
Xie Qiao replied coolly, "I came here to check on the patient Zi Yun"
Wang Yu was starting to lose his patience, "You're not a doctor and I am the patient here not my wife."
But Xie Qiao did not even waste a single second talking to Wang Yu. He looked at Li Zi Yun and said, "Are you sure you want to stay with him? You can leave him and come to me any second"
Wang Yu threw the fruit from bedside on Xie Qiao, which he dodged. Wu Qing who had been quiet from the beginning knew that it was time to leave and was trying to drag Xie Qiao out of the room. He knew that Wang Yu would not be dealing with Xie Qiao patiently for a long time and it was better to stop him now.
Wu Qing said to Xie Qiao, "Stop hitting on his wife"
Xie Qiao was beyond adamant, "But I like her"
Wu Qing could see the rage in Wang Yu's eyes. Next, the pillow came over flying towards Xie Qiao. "Get out."
At last, Xie Qiao looked at Wang Yu and said, "I was the one who proposed to her first. Wang Yu you stole her from me."
"Out I said"
However, Xie Qiao did not give up. He said to Li Zi Yun once again, "Don't listen to him. Marry me. I will never let you fall sick"
Wang Yu pulled Li Zi Yun closer to him burying her face in his chest so that Xie Qiao cannot look at his wife's face.
"Stop talking to my wife. I won't allow you to even look at her"
Xie Qiao shouted loud enough for anyone passing by to hear, "I will be waiting for you"
Wang Yu was done with Xie Qiao now. He looked at Wu Qing and said, "Wu Qing just kill him. I will take care of the consequences"
Wu Qing dragged Xie Qiao out by his neck before Wang Yu really murdered Xie Qiao.
