Capítulo 22: The Phantom Troupe

{Ren POV}

Today we are out shopping. Thinking about it, Freya, Nanika and I don't have a phone. "Do you guys have a phone? I asked in general. Kile had one but was planning to get a new model. Gene also didn't have a phone so we went looking for a phone. Just as we were selecting a phone, "That one's not as good, terrible range and not even waterproof." said Leorio as he walked towards us.

We were surprised as he wasn't supposed to be in Yorknew until tomorrow. As for Kurapika, he was already in Yorknew. "Leorio!" exclaimed Gene. We exchanged greetings and Alluka and Nanika introduced themselves. Leorio suggested a phone for us and haggled down the price.

"J 110,580 for one phone. Not bad for a shop like that," boasted Leorio. "You overdid it! I've never seen anyone get applause for buying a phone!" said Kile in disbelief. "But thanks for saving us the money!" said Gene.

While Leorio was teaching them how to haggle,

"Ren-sama, could you please show me how to use this device?" requested Nanika as she looked at the phone as if it was a puzzle. "Could you also teach me onii-chan?" followed Alluka. Sure, "I said". Alluka learnt how to use it quickly but Nanik… Hours passed in just teaching her how to text and call. I don't even understand how that's possible.

As I walk, I sense the presence of the 13 phantom troupe members within 50 miles. I just smile to myself, excited to confront them, "be careful in this city, the Phantom Troupe is already here. They probably came for the underground auction in a few days…"

Gene, Kile and Leorio immediately become serious. "We have to find and inform Kurapika and help him!" says Leorio knowing that Kurapika would go after the troupe. "Onii-chan, what is the phantom troupe?" asked Alluka, adorably. "Well, Alluka-chan, they are a bunch of bandits with special nen abilities but Alluka-chan won't have to worry, with me around they won't dare to come near you," I say while rubbing her hair at which she shows a bright smile.

{3rd Person POV}

A strangely dressed group of four people could be seen walking toward Yorknew city." How many years has it been since all 13 of us gathered here gathered?" said a Katana user who looked like he was from the Edo period. "Three years, Two months. But two of us are different this time. No.4 No.8 replaced." said the edge load. He spoke only if required with no excess. "Machi, are you sure that Hisoka is coming." Asked a massive man resembling Frankenstein's monster. "Franklin, I asked him to come." said the girl dressed like a ninja, Menchi.

"I no like Hisoka. Why Chrollo let him do as he want," said Feitan (Edgelord), in his broken English. "Cause he's good. His bungee gum (nen ability) is well thought out. It's tough to fight." praised Nobunaga (the swordsman with the katana). "You give him too much credit," said Franklin. "Anyone can talk big," retorted Nobunaga. They got into a small fight. The other two continued on their way.

After a few hours of walking, they reached a bunch of abandoned buildings. They entered one of them to find 9 others waiting for them. The 9 were Chrollo Lucifer (The leader), Bonolenov, Kortopi, Pakunoda, Phinks, Shalnark, Shizuku, Uvogin and Hisoka.

Once everyone had gathered, Chrollo announced, "We're going to make off with all the loot in the underground auction." A large, beast-like man, Ouvo, said, "Are you serious? Gangsters from all over the world run that auction. We'll make enemies out of all of them!!" at which Chrollo simply asked, "Are you scared?". Ouvo had a massive smile on his face. "I'm ecstatic… Give us the order…" he said while drooling.

Chrollo Lucifer- "I give you permission to kill all of them."
