I place down the report that just arrived. I don't know what to think right now. The Vongola Family allied with the Celtic Pantheon.
"Azazel. What with that sour face?"
"Here. Read it"
I see Vali read all the reports that just arrived in Grigori. It listed all the reports about how the Vongola family allied with the Celtic Pantheon. It shows what trade between allies is happening, and I envy the Celtic for it. In exchange for a rare ore from the Celtic, the Vongola family will send them a large batch of their special potion to the Celtic Pantheon.
Not only that, both of them have a military training program that makes me nervous.
"Why does this make you nervous?"
"What do you know about the Celtic Pantheon?"
"They are the smallest Pantheon in the world."
"And?"
"They are the best crafter in the world."
"And?"
"I think that's it."
"Even with their low number, they still can compete with the other Pantheon just fine. Even with all Grigori combined, we still cannot fight against the Celtic."
"Truly?"
"Yes. They all are battle maniacs that make any God of War think twice fighting them. They are not bloodthirsty. They will not seek a fight when they see a strong opponent. However, if anyone makes them angry enough or you keep asking them to fight you, then you will be facing something you will never encounter before. They are a tough bunch. They can take a massive amount of damage while also dealing massive damage to their enemy. Other than crafting, there is another thing that the Celtic Pantheon is known for."
"What is it?"
"They are known for their Enchanting. They can enchant their weapon to the point it can rewrite reality. They can craft something that can even kill a God and combined with their knowledge of Enchantment? They become a faction that can stand against the bigger Pantheon."
That is one of the few reasons why the Celtic can stand against the bigger faction like the Greek Pantheon, the Egyptian Pantheon, and even the Church. I don't want to admit it, but the Church is the biggest faction in number right now, and the Celtic can stand against them just fine.
If the Church, not the Heaven, declares a holy war against the Celtic for some unknown reason, I know they will be defeated easily. If Heaven decides to join the war, I am still confident that the Celtic still wins the fight, especially since the Big Daddy in the sky is gone.
"How strong are they?"
I snap from my thoughts when Vali says.
"Individually?"
"Yes."
"Hmmm. Lugh is known as one of the ten strongest beings in the world. In the past, Thor and Lugh have a friendly spar and destroy a good chunk of Asgard. While it doesn't sound much, I need to tell you that they only fight for a minute. So you could say that it was their opening attack that destroyed a good chunk of Asgard. So they continue their fight in the middle of an Ocean with Odin surrounding the area with a strong barrier. The result is a hole ten-kilometer deep in the middle of the Ocean. The diameter of said hole is more than a hundred meters. If you walk inside the hole they created, you will feel wild energy and a curse inside the hole. The wild energy and the curse are so strong that even an ultimate class being will get poisoned by the energy and get cursed immediately."
Wild energy is the name the people called to waste any divine attack a God or Goddess uses in battle. This is why God is dangerous to other races even when God or Goddess is a low-level God.
That wild energy can become a poison to any race if they stay too long in the place where there is too much wild energy.
As for the curse, well, the other thing Celtic faction is known for is their curse. While not as strong as the Egyptian faction, it can still be considered one of the nastiest curses.
"Morrigan is the individual that can match Lugh in terms of power. While she is not as powerful as him in terms of raw power, Morrigan compensates for it with her cunning. She is a master of spear, the only one that can match her in pure spear skill is Scáthach, The Queen of the Land of Shadow. The next one is the Dagda. He is the master of magic, potion, and alchemy. His knowledge of magic is something that cannot be underestimated. That is the big three of Celtic Pantheon. They are the one that I think has the most power in the Celtic circle. However, don't underestimate the other members of the Celtic circle. Scáthach alone can fight against a high-level god toe-to-toe, and she is not even a god, only an immortal."
There is a reason why the Greeks did declare against the Celtic like in the past. They lost a good number of their kind to the Celtic because they think that they will win the war with their number.
"They are chill guys. They did not want to start a fight, but if someone started a fight against them, they made sure to end it as fast and as brutal as possible. The others did not want to ally with them because they are too blunt in their way of talking. Not only that, but they also reject anyone that only wants to make an alliance with them for their status as a big faction. So, it is surprising to see the hard to approach faction suddenly make an alliance with the faction that wants to be a neutral faction."
"I see."
"Do you read the last part of the report?"
"Yes. It says that the other faction also began to create their own alliance."
"Then, do you know why the other faction formed their own faction?"
I wait for Vali to give me his answer. After a few minutes of thinking, he looks at me and says.
"To take a precaution. The fear that the new alliance will start a war. The fear of the unification of the three factions will create a power imbalance. So they create their own faction alliance to match the power the three factions have."
"Correct. While we don't have that goal in mind, the other faction did not have the same thinking. They see it as a threat. The only faction that did not think about it as a threat was the Hindu faction. They are a bunch of monsters, so I guess they did not see the other alliance as a threat."
And with the Norse faction joining our pact, the other faction will become more agitated than before. If only the Khaos Brigade's threat is known to the other faction, this misunderstanding can be solved, but with the Khaos Brigade's recent defeat, the other faction thought that the Khaos Brigade is a small group. A group that they can fight alone.
If only they know that the leader of the Khaos Brigade is Ophis, the Ouroboros Dragon.
"Excuse me."
I snap from my thoughts when Penemue walks inside my office.
"Yo, Penemue! Is there something I can do for you?"
"There is a letter for you."
"Oh? From who?"
"From the Shinto"
"Oh? Letter from Yasaka?"
"No. From Amaterasu."
Oh? Interesting.
"Are we the only one invited to the Takamagahara?"
"No. They also invited the Vongola Family as well."
"Only them?"
"I don't know. The only letter I see beside our letter in the courier hand is the letter for the Vongola Family."
"I see."
I wonder what Amaterasu wants? The only thing I can think of is that Amaterasu wants to join the Three Faction-Norse alliance or the Vongola-Celtic Alliance. The Shinto have a decent relationship with the Fallen Angel, Angel, and Norse faction. However, they did not like the Devil after what they have done to Nekomata.
On the other hand, Shinto and the Vongola Family have a good relationship and decent relationship with the Celtic. In honesty, I don't mind the Shinto joining the Vongola-Celtic alliance. Still, I know that the other Cadre wants me to secure the alliance for ourselves as, right now, our operation base is in Japan.
The same could be said to Sirzech and Serafall. I know that they don't mind the Shinto joining the Vongola-Celtic alliance, but the council member will be pestering them to secure the alliance.
This meeting will be very interesting.
