Capítulo 27: Hero Faction III
"Haaaaa Haaaaa"
Damn. I know that Cao Cao is strong, but I never know he is this strong. Not only can he hold his ground against Carol, but he is also able to protect Georg while fighting. Also, I never heard Phoenix tears able to weaken the effect of the flame inside Georg's body. Even though it works rather slowly, it still weakens the flame inside his body.
Georg also explained what he knew about my power to Cao Cao, making him more cautious against me.
In this fight, I only become a baggage to Carol as she keeps protecting me from Cao Cao. Every time I retreat, Cao Cao is always on my tail and keeps attacking me with his goddamn cheat spear. Not only can that spear fire a beam of death, but it is also able to extend, and the most annoying thing is his Balance Breaker, Polar Night Longinus Chakravartin.
That annoying Balance breaker can hold Carol for a short amount of time. In the entire fight, Cao Cao only used three orbs out of seven spheres. The one that he continually uses is the orb that makes Carol lose her ability to control the Cosmic power for a short amount of time. Lucky for us, Cao Cao has two enemies, Carol and me. Not only that, Carol still has the power of Cloud flame and Power Stone inside of her.
The next orb he uses in this fight is the orb that lets him teleport anywhere the orb touches. The last one is the one that enables him to redirect any incoming attack to another direction.
That damn cheat spear makes him a tough person to fight.
Lucky for us that orb that made Carol lose her power over Cosmic power did not erase her Flame and Power stone. If his cheat spear erases all Carol's special ability, then we are doomed to fight him.
I take a deep breath before pointing my gun at Cao Cao and firing another flame bullet. When I see him dodge my attack, I smirk a little as my attack takes a sharp turn and chases after him. When I see him use his orb to avoid my attack, I can see Carol attack him with her Cosmic power enchanted with Cloud flame.
*Boom* *Boom* *Boom*
When the dust disappears, and Cao Cao is nowhere to be found, I smirk a little as I hear an explosion not too far away from our location. Earlier I marked Cao Cao using my Rain flame, making sure my attack would always hit its target, and it would not stop until my attack hit the target.
I look at Carol for a second before letting her fight, Cao Cao. I look around the battlefield and see that my people can hold their ground against Leonardo anti-monster and also Shadow monster created by Connla, the descendant of Cu Chulainn.
Not only that, but I also can see Amelia fight against some member of Hero Faction that I don't know. Instead, she didn't fight them, but rather her animal partner. Amelia stays in the back while firing some arrows made of Rain Flame.

Also, did I mention that Medea has upgraded Popol the polar bear? Yeah, Medea creates a charm that contains a massive amount of Cloud Flame that Popol can use if he needs it. Of course, he immediately used it to fight the enemy.
In front of me is a massive polar bear with a blue flame around his body. Not only can he increase his size using Cloud flame, but Popol is also able to multiple his ice attack using it. So, in conclusion, Popol is Amelia's mobile wall that protects her from any attacker. However, this 'wall' was not only used for defense but also for attacking the enemy.
I snap from my thoughts as I remember what I need to do. I need to find Georg and defeat him or at least weaken him to the point he can't hold this technique. While I know that my people can fight them and win, a little help from the Medea bound field will tremendously help us right now and make us win this fight faster.
When I detect Georg's location, I decide to snipe him from far away.
"Lily, Switch mode: Sniper."
My pistol began to change into a sniper rifle. The same gun Colonnello uses.
"Maximum Charge. Cloud, Rain, Storm, Sun, Lightning, and Sky."
As I find my target, I proceed to pull the trigger.
"Target Locked. Continuous Fire"
As my gun fires its 'bullet,' I can feel the recoil push me back. I create a plant using my mist flame and make it more sturdy than it should be. I then use that plant to hold my body, so I don't get thrown away when Lily releases the maximum charges. This attack needs time to build up, but luckily for me, it continues to fire its 'bullet' without stopping and will continue to get more powerful the more time it fires its 'bullet.'
As I look at my target through the scope, I see him block all my attacks with his sacred gear. What makes me annoyed is that he uses it to create a sphere of mist around his body to stop all the attacks coming at him from all directions.
While I can't kill him because of this, I can make him tired enough to drop this dimension. I narrow my eyes when I see an incoming beam of light.
Tch. It looks like Cao Cao is still watching over his friend, huh?
However, before I could do anything, multiple layers of the magic circle appeared in front of me. The magic circle holds the incoming beam of light long enough for Carol to gain her Cosmic power back and begin her merciless attack toward Cao Cao.
Seeing the situation, I decide to continue attacking Georg. I don't know how long he can maintain that sacred gear, but I know it will not be long before he collapses. However, before I could break his barrier, Georg disappeared and only left an orb floating in the place where Georg previously.
Without searching for Georg's location, I let the beam do the job. I look at my attacker, who takes a sharp turn to the right. A second later, I hear an explosion and a scream coming from the forest not too far away from my current location.
"ARRGGGHHHH"
"GEORG!"
I then see Cao Cao appear in front of Georg and stab his spear to the ground. After stabbing his spear to the ground, a barrier made of light appeared around him, and Georg blocked my attack.
My beam continues to push through the barrier, but when I begin to feel that the barrier begins to crack, the world changes. One by one, the surviving members of the Hero faction that attack us start to gather around Cao Cao and Georg. After all the members gather in one place, I see Georg's sacred gear start to expand from his body and enveloping the member of Hero Faction, and a second later, they are gone.
Tch.
I can't even kill one of them. Goddammit.
Many stories I read on Earth say that I shouldn't have altered the past or the canon story. I call that bullsh*it. Your very presence in this world already alters the canon story, so what is the point trying to make it the same as the canon?
If your presence already alters the canon, then use it to make it to your advantage. In my case, kill any problem that comes and threaten your peace before it becomes a massive problem.
Cao Cao and his band of misfit will become a massive problem to my cause because, after this fight, they will report this to their 'superior' about our situation. I know that I can win against one of the four Old Satan leaders (Except Rizevim) if I use all my power. I also know that my guardian can defeat them as well, but I don't know if the citizens of Faysummit can beat them. Maybe they can, but at what cost?
"Master"
I snap from my thoughts when I see Medea walk toward me with a giant man following her.
"Heracles?"
"Ahh. Yeah, this is the improved clone of Heracles I create."
"He is… Terrifying"
And I'm not lying. The giant Berserker in front of me is more terrifying than the anime portrait it to be.
"Master"
"Ah! What is it?"
"What should we do? Should we search for their location?"
I want to say yes, but I know that it will not be easy. If we attack their base, will the Tepes clan attack us? I know that Marius Tepes is a Rizevim minion that will gladly lead the attack against us.
"No. I don't think we will. Let us go back and celebrate this victory."
I will think about them later. Right now, we are not strong enough to do an offensive on a large scale, but maybe in the future, we can.
