Capítulo 100: Stocking Up
The two of them walked along the corridor and down the stairs to the dining room. The dining table was filled with scrumptious food, and somehow, most of dishes contained potatoes. Seeing the dishes, Lilica turned her head to look at Kazuya questioningly.
"You said that you'll eat it if I cooked you some potatoes, right?" Kazuya said sweetly.
"YOU cooked them? When did you find time to cook them?" Lilica asked, flabbergasted at the sight of the expensive-looking food in front of her.
"Yep. I went to the kitchen before I went to the bathroom. I asked the servants to reheat them, so we can eat it now." Kazuya replied as he gestured for her to take a seat.
"It looks so good…" Lilica said as she started drooling from the enticing scent.
"I can't guarantee that it tastes as good as it looks. I just know how to cook a little." Kazuya said, not wanting her to be too expectant. He didn't want her to raise the bar too high. He only learned how to cook recently before he went to the human world, so he wasn't confident in his cooking skills.
"*chew* …! It's good!" Lilica said, feeling surprised. She was surprised since Kazuya had told her that he only knew how to cook a little and his face was so nervous that she thought he wasn't that good.
"Phew… I was nervous you won't like my cooking." Kazuya said as he also started eating. His dish was slightly different from her as he had put in some supplements, so he wouldn't need to drink his wife's sweet blood so much.
"There's no way I wouldn't like your cooking! Anyways, you've really made a lot of dishes that included potatoes…" Lilica said as she looked at all the dishes before her. Lilica felt that maybe it was too much for breakfast. Lilica was the type that doesn't really eat a lot during breakfast.
"If we can't finish all of them, we can just keep it and eat it again another time." Kazuya said as he gracefully put a spoonful of baked potatoes into his mouth.
"Okay!" Lilica said as she continued chomping down her food happily.
Noticing that the corners of her mouth was slightly stained from the gravy sauce, Kazuya used a napkin to brush it off for her.
"Thanks!" Lilica said as she revealed a bright smile and continued enthusiastically, "…but I would've preferred if you used your finger to wipe it off and lick on it, or even better, lick it directly from my mouth!"
Lilica's eyes shone expectantly as she finished her sentence. Kazuya let out a light chuckle as he stood up and cupped her chin with his strong hands.
"As you wish, my princess…" Kazuya said as he leaned in to kiss her lips deeply.
"Hmm…" Lilica let out a moan, creating an opening for Kazuya to insert his tongue in.
The two kissed passionately for a while and resumed eating their breakfast, both of their eyes filled with longing, wanting to be more intimate with each other.
After they finished their breakfast, Kazuya grabbed her hand and pulled her in for a light hug. After a while, he let go of his embrace and led her to one of the examination rooms that was there for his brother.
Kazuya chose a female doctor that was all-rounded in different areas to examine Lilica since he didn't want a male doctor to examine his wife.
Lilica obediently went through several exams and after what seemed like 3 hours, she was finally done.
"So, how is my wife and child?" Kazuya asked the doctor as soon as she was back from receiving the test results. The palace had many rooms and had many rooms filled with different equipment since Kazuki was sickly since he was small and then the car accident happened.
Lilica, who was sitting together with Kazuya straightened her back at his question, her full focus on the doctor. She also wanted to know how her baby was.
"Your wife and child's body are both healthy! You should start seeing a small bump on your stomach around the end of this month." The doctor replied with a smile.
"What kind of food should she watch out for?" Kazuya asked as he took out a small notebook.
"Well, she can eat anything but do avoid spicy stuff. She should have a balanced meal everyday and since she's a succubus, be sure to stock up on that extra 'energy' since during the giving birth phase, she will use up a lot of that energy. I advise you to not partake in 'intense activities' during the last three months of your pregnancy since it could affect your child. If she doesn't stock on the energy in time, her life may be at risk when she gives birth." The doctor replied frankly. The doctor had seen Kazuya since he was small, so her tone was quite friendly with him.
"Also, Prince Kazuya, you will have to refrain from drinking her blood during the last three months too. As you two will be marrying soon, Prince Kazuya, you will not be able to drink another person's blood, so you will have two choices. One is to stock up on her blood and the other is to eat supplements during the whole three months. I don't really recommend stocking up her blood since she's pregnant right now. It may affect her health. So, what will you do?" The doctor replied in a serious tone, sure that Kazuya would want to stock her blood up, if possible.
