The lit cigarette between Glen's fingers remained untouched as he peered at Nidia.
"What could I do to them anyway? There are elderly and children here. I would never deign to give them anything that was life-threatening... It's just an extra-strength sedative you can't find on the market. They'll wake up on their own with no negative side effects."
Walking toward Samuel, Glen clapped his shoulder. "I wonder if this handsome fellow caught a terminal illness or accidentally found himself in bed with another man. He drank so many cans of beer, so the sedative levels in his body must be much higher than the rest. He's probably going to wake up a bit later than the others."
Glen smiled to himself. "Though I must say, he'd helped me out immensely. Why?
Before I could even spill the barbecue sauce on Jackson, Samuel had already sprayed him with his beer which spurred him to go upstairs to take a shower."
"Go upstairs to shower? What about Daisy?"
