"Mhm," Patricia responded, signaling Nidia with her eyes carefully.

Patricia wanted to tell Nidia that as she had raised Jackson, he definitely wouldn't be angry with her. The future was long, and there would be ample opportunities for her to find more ways to let Nidia see Bubsy next time.
