Capítulo 312: 312- Marissa Was Alone

"What got into you?" Sophie asked her, holding a beer can in her hand. She was here at Marissa's palace for their movie night.

"I don't know," Marissa shrugged placing the can on the floor. They were seated on the recliners at the deck, "Geena told me, and I questioned her."

"She is Rafael's mom, Mar. How can you…" She paused when Marissa raised her finger to stop her.

"I'm already under too much guilt, Sophie. Please…" her voice trailed off. Sophie felt sorry for her.

"Did you try to talk to her again?"

"I did," Marissa exhaled a tired breath, "But she is cordial in the presence of kids. This guilt… I still think Delinda isn't the one, Sophie. And if it's true then Rafael's murderer is still out there … lurking somewhere."

Sophie tilted her eyebrow in curiosity, "Valerie?"
