Capítulo 178: They Meet Again?

Natalie stood in front of the mirror adjusting the final touches of her makeup. The face staring back at her was almost unrecognizable—thinner and more defined with sharper angles courtesy of all the stress and sleepless nights. She ran her fingers through her hair that was now styled in a butterfly cut she had impulsively gotten in Spain just because it was trending. The layers barely reached her shoulders, but not once did she regret cutting her long hair.

...If only memories could be discarded as easily.

The black and white dress she wore mirrored her mood, a messy blend of contrasting emotions—hope and fear, excitement and dread. She had hoped that by changing her appearance she could also change the person she was. But as she stared into her own big brown eyes, she wondered if it was ever that simple.
