Natalie and Alonso descended the final steps, hand in hand, their attention fixed on the mansion's door where the guests were entering. She was so caught up in the cool touch of Alonso's hand that it took a moment for the surprise to register.

The middle-aged man who walked through the door was the same one she had seen in the cemetery earlier today. Either that, or he had an identical white leather jacket to the one the man wore there. But what caught her off guard even more was the woman with jet-black hair and a waterfall of curls that danced as she took off her jacket and handed it to Juan. Underneath the jacket, she wore a black sleeveless dress exposing two arms inked with tattoos. Are those snakes?

Because of her bold look, it took Natalie a moment to catch on that she had already met this woman before. Oh, that's definitely Kevin's date from the other day, Bella!
