Capítulo 14: Chapter 14: An Awful Event

Emily's POV

My day begins with a bad scene. My morning hasn't really been a great one today. My son has thrown in a huge tantrum at first, after deciding that he does not want to go to school, something that is out of character for him.

Just then, after I got that settled, on my way to the office, I got a flat tire which cost me much time than I wanted to get that settled.

But, apparently, these are the onlynot the inconveniences I have got for today, for In no sooner had I entered the reception area, where the people who had come for the audition we're waiting, than someone latched themselves on to my arm.

I hear the voice of someone whom I know not from behind me before I saw the person. Immediately I set my eyes on her, I could recognize her spontaneously. How could I not recognize the woman who had given me sleepless nights back then, even after all this years?
