Sam is consumed by these questions and has little time to figure out the answers in time to help.

Ada, meanwhile, faces the looming threat of a mysterious other from the astral plane haunting her days, nights, and every moment in between. She finds her privacy invaded, obliterated, her mind an open book for a nosy creature she can't seem to shake off. Sleep, once her escape, becomes a moment of dread in her days.
