Capítulo 13: When you get your college degree I will teach you
Today was another day I was going to meet the Dunphys.
Haley wanted me to come over more often to let them know me. Hoping they would let us just watch movies without observing us the whole time.
I walked to the house and texted Haley like last time.
"Hi Haley", I said kissing her.
"Hi. Come in", she took me into the house.
She was wearing a white T-shirt with a beautiful skirt on.
"Hey, wreathen Ethan. Whats up buddy", Phil greeted me.
"Whats up Vitamin-P", I replied with a smile.
"I love that", he said looking at me like he was in love.
"Good evening Ethan. I already heard about you coming over. I will make spaghetti for dinner. Would you like that", Claire said with a smile. She was much more relaxed than last time, but still had her guard up.
"I would love to eat that"
"You must be Haley's boyfriend", I heard a young female voice say. It was Alex.
"Don't talk to me. You're probably just as smart as Haley if you're her boyfriend", she said with a mocking smile.
"And you must be Alex", I replied laughing. Alex ignored me and just walked upstairs.
"Don't mind that little bitch", Haley said.
"Don't talk like that to your sister Haley", Claire warned.
I sat on the sofa with Haley. It didn't take long and Phil sat down besides me.
"Do you wanna watch Basketball", Phil said with a smile.
"Yes. The Lakers are playing now, aren't they? I love them.", I said with a smile. I liked basketball in my previous life and here.
"Yes, they are", Phil said with a huge smile. I smiled innerly knowing Phil was a Lakers fan. I didn't need to lie for that one as I loved the Lakers.
After that, we watched the game. After the second quarter Luke came in and watched with us.
I talked with him quite a bit.
He seemed to like me. The only bad thing he said was an ew when he knew that I was Haley's boyfriend.
Haley seemed annoyed that I spent so much time with her dad, but I could relax her by putting her into my arms.
Phil didn't mind, but Claire sat down in between us.
After some persuasion by Phil, she sat down beside him.
In the end the Lakers won that game.
After the game Phil dragged me out to the garden.
"Do you want to see a real backflip Vitamin-E.", Phil said with a smile. He looked like he was teaching his kids.
"I would love to, but could I showcase you mine Vitamin-P", I replied with a smile knowing Phil would probably hurt himself at the try of a backflip.
"Of course. Try it Ethan.", Phil said while going up to the trampoline.
"Come up here Ethan. Don't be nervous", Phil said thinking I was nervous.
"No need Phil. I can do it on the ground.", I said while doing a quick stretch.
I ran up, made a somersault and a backflip in one go and landed easily.
"Wow. That was amazing Ethan. Please teach me", Luke was the first to react.
"No. That's too dangerous Luke.", Claire was trying to convince him.
"Phil say something", Claire tried to find help.
"But-", she was clearly with the wrong person.
"If you get your college degree I will teach you Luke", I said helping Claire.
She quickly thanked me with her eyes. We both knew how unlikely it was for that to happen.
Haley didn't say anything and was just staring at me like a cat in heat.
Claire noticed just that and was wary again.
We didn't go to Haley's room for the rest of the time. We ate and I watched a film with Haley on the couch.
It was very comfortable.
When it was around 9 p.m. I left the house.
I seemed to get along very well with the Dunphys.
I loved the feeling to get together with them.
