"Luca, are you ready?"
"Ready!"
"Let's go!"
After two days of rest, the injury on Luca's arm had improved significantly, and the day of the trial had quietly arrived.
"Gisele!"
"Kate!"
As Kate got out of the car at the courthouse entrance, she ran into Gisele. Their eyes met, and both their expressions gradually turned cold, their auras becoming sharp and domineering.
Gisele wore a long purple velvet gown that trailed on the ground, her golden curls flowing freely. Her slender waist, curvaceous figure, and tall, sexy frame radiated fierce confidence.
Kate was dressed in a burgundy off-the-shoulder gown, her fair skin and delicate features striking. Her chestnut-golden hair was partially pinned up, exuding a noble elegance with a hint of untamed wildness—graceful and captivating.
The two women stared at each other intensely, as if engaged in a mental battle, the atmosphere tense and fierce.
"Their presence is so overwhelming!"
Not far away, Miranda, the rookie, cupped her round face, blinking her wide eyes in admiration as she looked at the two powerful queens.
"Don't be too envious. After a few more years of experience, you can be as impressive as them," Ms. Nina said calmly.
"Can I really?"
Miranda bit her lip, then smiled, revealing her round dimples—part innocent, part sweet, and part naive.
Ms. Nina shook her head quietly, thinking it might not be likely.
Miranda's charm lay in her innocent, sweet, and pure nature. If she lost that, she'd lose her uniqueness. She could never imitate the styles of Kate or Gisele, nor did she need to.
"Hey, you two, could you not do this?"
Lima pushed her ample chest forward and inserted herself between the two auras. She spread her hands and smiled, "We all come from the same place, so we should support each other. Why fight to the death?"
Kate's lips curled slightly, her expression softening a bit.
"Gisele, thank you for being willing to testify."
"Heh, no need to thank me. Someone paid a hefty price to ask me for help, so of course, I had to agree."
Gisele glanced at someone before walking into the courtroom first.
"Delia, did you pay a hefty price to invite her?"
Kate frowned slightly.
Ms. Delia shook her head, "No, I asked her to testify, and she just agreed."
"Then who invited her? Was it the Balmain family?"
Kate raised her sharp eyebrows, radiating a murderous intent.
"It doesn't matter whether we have a witness or not, does it?"
Ms. Delia said confidently.
"Exactly!"
Kate pursed her lips and strode up the courthouse steps.
"Luca, it seemed like Gisele glanced at you just now?"
Lima stared at him in confusion.
"Me?"
Luca was puzzled. "Did Gisele just look at me? Could she have a secret crush on me?"
"Hahaha~"
The group burst into laughter.
"Hmph, laugh while you can. Soon, you'll be crying!"
Hubert Balmain sneered coldly as he led his group into the courtroom.
