"Jackson went to the office today," Jasmine answered concisely.

"What about you, why didn't you go to work today?" Mrs Smith asked to the further surprise of Jasmine. Even Jane that was utterly ignored was surprised to listen to Mrs Smith's question.

"I had to take a day off since I wasn't feeling well...,"

"What is wrong with you? Did you visit the hospital?" Mrs Smith blurted out her concern without thinking. She composed herself when she saw the way all the occupants of the sitting room were staring at her.

"Auntie, I am sure she is fine. I know very well that she wouldn't have been sitting here if she was unwell. I am sure Jack would have made sure of it," Jane made her presence known.

"As she said I am doing better now after taking some rest," Jasmine replied concisely.

"I am sorry you had to come during the time that Jackson is not around but I will make sure to relay the news of your visit to him," Jasmine said politely.
