Capítulo 41: Chapter 39 Bakugo Suspicious
The reason why Aizawa Shouta said this was simply to prevent Akira from destroying other equipment. While it wasn't necessary to accompany him, reinstalling the equipment would take time.
"Okay, I'll be careful," Akira replied with a smile.
Aizawa Shouta nodded, not saying anything more. He turned to the others. "Next group!"
"I'll do it!" Midoriya Izuku said, quickly running to one of the two runways.
"I'm coming too!" Uraraka Ochaco said as she quickly walked to the other track.
Uraraka Ochaco's Quirk is 'gravityless', which, honestly, doesn't contribute much to this particular project. However, Izuku Midoriya's Quirk, the One For All, inherited from All Might, is a different story. His Quirk has significantly enhanced all his physical abilities, giving him tremendous explosive power.
But Akira knew one thing—this version of Izuku Midoriya was advancing faster than the one in the original timeline. After all, he had inherited One For All five months earlier, which gave him time to adjust and grow stronger.
Akira believed that with time, Izuku would adjust enough to avoid the issues of the past, where he injured himself trying to use his newfound power recklessly. All Might had told him that the key was to trust his own feelings when wielding this power.
"Everyone in position! Get ready!" Aizawa Shouta's voice cut through the air, signaling the start.
Izuku Midoriya's legs began to glow with colorful light particles.
The "Bang!" of the starting signal rang out, and Izuku shot forward.
"3 seconds 09"
"5 seconds 03"
Bakugo's expression stiffened as he watched. The changes in Izuku were too drastic, and it was difficult for him to accept.
"Everything changed after that sludge incident. His Quirk just awakened out of nowhere," Bakugo muttered through gritted teeth.
Before that incident, Izuku had been a timid mess. But now, Izuku seemed almost his equal in terms of power and confidence.
"Damn it, what has he gone through?" Bakugo growled, clearly frustrated.
As time passed, the eight events moved quickly toward completion. Aizawa Shouta, who had seemed listless earlier, was now showing some interest.
"Akira, Bakugo, Midoriya, and Todoroki Shoto... these four..." Aizawa Shouta thought to himself. "It seems this batch is a bit powerful."
For some reason, Aizawa Shouta now felt like he was watching a group that resembled the Big 3.

At that same moment, in a dark rental house, a knock echoed through the room.
A man emerged from within—it was Ishimura, the same man who had clashed with Akira before.
"Crack!" The door swung open, revealing an older man.
"How's it going? Have you done what I asked?" Ishimura asked, a hint of impatience in his tone.
"Well, the information you gave me was a bit lacking. If you want it faster, you'll need to pay more," the old man replied, his smile stiff.
"I don't care about the price. Just tell me how long it will take," Ishimura snapped, his frustration apparent.
"If the payment's enough, I can have it done today," the old man said.
"Fine. Here you go." Ishimura turned, went into the rental house, and returned with a stack of money, handing it over to the old man.
The old man counted the bills, then said, "I found Bakugo Katsuki. He's currently studying in the Hero Course."
"Hero Course?" Ishimura frowned. He'd suspected as much. After all, when he fought Akira, the unfamiliar face told him Akira was likely a student, not a professional Hero. Now it seemed his assumption was correct.
"Looks like we'll have to find another way to lure him out," Ishimura muttered to himself.
"By the way, boss, do you need any info on Haiyuan Town? I can give you a 20% discount," the old man offered.
Ishimura blinked in confusion. "What happened in Haiyuan Town?"
The old man shrugged. "Didn't you hear about it? A professional Hero murdered an ordinary citizen and accidentally killed his wife and son."
Before the old man could continue, Ishimura quickly cut him off. "I don't care about that. I can't even handle my own business, let alone other people's problems."
The old man laughed nervously. "Alright, boss. If you need anything, you know where to find me. 10% off for acquaintances."
As the old man left, Ishimura's expression turned sharp.
"Bakugo Katsuki, I hope you still remember me. This time, my strength has greatly increased, and the boss's side is expanding. It's time to make a move."
