Capítulo 3: Chapter 3
Dabi was sitting alone when he heard a door creak open.
"I brought it." His guard said
He set an Endeavor doll next to Dabi.
"Great, now get out."
He ignored him "Are you a big fan of his?"
"No. Leave me alone."
"I was just wondering since I really like him."
"You shouldn't. He's abusive to his family."
"How do you know?"
"I already told you leave me alone"
Dabi lit a small blue flame in his hand and his guard slowly backed away. As soon as he was gone Dabi set the flame on the small doll.
"Let's see how well you hold up to fire now."
The doll melted in his hand and he seemed happy to watch the colors drip down onto his palm. Once the doll was fully melted he blew out the flame and smeared the melted plastic on the wall. The plastic dripped down the wall in streaks of orange and black. Dabi sat on the floor watching his art fall before it eventually hardened. His guard came back just then and saw the mess.
"What did you do?"
"He got what he deserved."
"That was a very rare limited edition doll. Only ten exist in the world!"
"Well, you can make that nine."
The guard sighed "Your friends are waiting for you in the other room. You should go talk to them."
"Fine but get out."
The guard nodded and left. Dabi headed into the other room and found the girls in there coloring. He immediately noticed the camera in the corner and knew to be cautious.
"Hey guys." He said
"Hi," Himiko said not looking up from her drawing "I drew me killing someone," She said to the other two.
It was in fact a very good drawing. There was a man in the middle and Himiko was slicing her dagger through his chest. She had blood dripping from her mouth and was dressed in all black.
"Isn't that the new hero Hawks?" Zuri asked
"Yep. I think it would be pretty cool to be able to fly."
"His wings have other uses too." Dabi butted in "He can use his feathers to track people or as weapons."
"Hm, I guess that's true. Look, I even added Endeavor trying to save him in the background."
"Trying but failing just like everything he does," Dabi muttered
"What?"
"Oh, nothing."
Dabi sat next to them although he didn't draw. Mira offered him a paper and some pencils but he pushed them away. He couldn't help but think about Himiko's drawing. He had met Hawks a few years before the incident. They had been good friends and Hawks had always carried an Endeavor doll with him. Even back then he would only tell people his hero name believing he would become a pro hero someday. Now he was in the hero course and had fought alongside Endeavor. He probably didn't even remember Dabi anyway and if he did he wouldn't recognize him now. Dabi was one of the few people he had told his real name but that wouldn't mean much now. He had moved on. That's when Zuri came up with a genius plan. She wrote it down on her paper and showed it to the others. All three agreed with it and she set the plan in motion.
