Resumen
"In the Year 2030, a plague spread throughout the globe, turning most humans into zombies.
Naturally, as a weakling, I turned into one as well, a weak one at that.
I could never overpower a living human, nor have I taken a bite of human flesh. Now, even my mind was starting to go blank.
I stared at the living muscular human standing in front of me with a huge RPG over his shoulder, and I thought my zombie life was going to end at that moment.
Without any warning, a green light shot out from the cloud and enveloped me.
Everything started to turn black after that. When I opened my eyes once again, I was already in an unknown world.
In front of me stood an idiot who proclaimed himself as a necromancer. I glared at his tasty flesh and charged at the necromancer without any hesitation.
At first, I thought it would be a harsh battle between him and me, but, unexpectedly, the necromancer was even weaker than me.
After indulging in the necromancer’s brain, information appeared inside my head.

This is a story of the growth of a weak zombie…

Escribe una reseñaA monster protagonist? I'm already hooked, but like with most novels the MC tends to become human, so fingers crossed that doesn't happen here. Premise is cool, will leave another review after reading.
Read till Ch.15 and it seems good so far although I might not continue. Translation quality is good. The prompt is MC was summoned by a necromancer in a fantasy setting from a post-apocalyptic world as a zombie. After he eats the necromancer's brain he takes over his memories and starts going on the path of necromancy himself to eventually become something as close to a human as possible. He does that by cultivating with the technique he got from some inheritance the necromancer had but the entire cultivation premise is a bit too shallow in my opinion. He meditates and depending on the quality and quantity of his undead subordinates his meditation speed varies and he progresses till he managed to reach "basic necromancer" and he absorbs "death particles" and stuff like that that are very niche and from my limited experience every time authors try to reinvent the wheel here it doesn't end up well. That's pretty much it. His main goals atm are being as close as possible to a human being and getting stronger. Seems nice but I guess not really what I'm looking for right now...
This novel killing my brain cells. ....................................................................................................................................................................................
How shall I say it... This is not my cup of tea however the translation is pretty good and the westernized names doesn't really matter that much since immediately we are transported to another world which I assume is a western style fantasy world. Also it's written using first point of view instead of the typical third point of view. this dampens the usual jarring effect from having westernized names for Chinese main characters greatly. While I did not enjoy this story, so far for me it's one of the more enjoyable reads for this terrible week's trial reads. Goodbye!
It's good, but the main problem is unwanted, completely useless, and unrelated history knowledge of China. Dude why should you write does unwanted Chinese histories. It consume time and decrease overall enjoyment. Please don't include this unwanted Chinese history 😢😔
i have read this novel up to chapter 20. and i think this is a good novel.. love this novel as the mc is a non human... i rate this 4/5 tho i felt a bit bored reading this as im more into comedic novel...

This is translation review, not novel review. If you are not familiar with it, webnovel has started westernizing most of the novels in 2021. This is awful practice that kills original novel. At best you get only names, places and organizations westernized and at worst you get half novel gutted and other half totally rewritten by translator. With best case scenario you get only names, places and organizations westernized which introduces plotholes cause while names are westernized, actual writing and character culture arent. You get chinese way of thinking, chinese places and organizations translated into most famous western (USA) alternatives and as a result you see absurdity. And with the worst case scenario, you are not actually reading original authors work, but some "translators" plagiarization cause half novel is removed (sometimes critical explanations) and other half is badly rewritten. And cause this requires so much work compared to normal translation, either webnovel is stealing original authors work and rewriting it (cause most of those novels dont come from qidian) or they are just using translators that dont know chinese so they are rewriting story with help of MTL (seen too many edited MTL translations lately on webnovel). overall any westernized novel deserves automatic 1 star review.
