Islinda and Issac got over that awkward moment and she was still exploring the library without picking and choosing a book. There were just so numerous books that it was overwhelming and she wanted to feed her eyes before her brains first. Was that a weird thing to say?
She asked Issac, "How do you find the book you need here?"
Issac folded his arms across his chest such that his muscles bulged, giving her a long look, "Are you trying to know how to reach the shelf with your shortness."
Ouch.
The gods knew if Islinda had her quiver with her, she would have shot an arrow into his butt, to teach him a lesson. He was beginning to get on her nerves.
Islinda gave Issac a deadpan look. She was rendered speechless and did not know how to answer that.
"I did not lie, did I?" He pushed on, the subtle lift of the corner of his lips suggesting he took satisfaction in irking her.
Hi guys, tried as much as I could to make this a double update but I've been sick for a while now and today was worse with fever, catarrh and chills. It was a miracle I managed to release this chapter. I'll get better and compensate you guys with more chapters. Thanks for sticking around.
Please add "Defy The Alphas," to your library and give reviews!
