Constanza immediately sat up.

"What do you mean you can see?" she asked him.

"I can see you Connie, you are really pretty" he told her.

"You can really see me?" she asked again to be sure.

"Yes, I can see you" he repeated.

She held her fingers up in front of him. "how many fingers am I holding?" she asked him.

"one"

"two"

"three" he counted slowly.

"This is so weird, I had no idea fingers looked this way" he told her as he held her fingers, slowly examining them.

Constanza hugged him tight.

"You can really see Killian" she told him.

"I guess I can. Everything seems so bright" he told her.

"Oh! I have a lot to teach you, I can show you colors and all of my favorite things." she said excitedly and then her face fell.

"What is it?" he asked.

"You want to die." she replied.
