Capítulo 1: A whole new world
Victor was a scientist which some people may call... a bit crazy, well, not crazy but obsessed. He likes to play with various types of energies an its results, as he is a curious man
Despite what the others thought of him, he was a completly sane person but his hobby was different. Some liked to play in PC all day right? Well, he likes to do experiments
"Recording, experiment number 32, lets use the new machine to manipulate the nuclear energy" While recording a new experiment, he starts to use the completly new and modern machine in order to divide atoms
Until today he made many discoveries, gaining fame and renown of the government and today he was in a isolated laboratory loaned by them in the middle of nowhere in order to experiment with this dangerous energy
While seeing the the data in the panel, he start to watch numbers go up and down
"Now that we are at this step... what will happen if i apply some extreme gravity while accelerating the particles?"
In previous discoveries, he somehow made possible to store gravitational energy and use it in many things, thanks to this discovery many floating devices were made
Going back to the experiment, he started to accelerate the particles, not before activating an extreme ammount of gravity, making the inside have about ten times the amount of normal gravity
He press the start red button and waits for the results... But this experiment was doomed to be his final one in this world
Just when the particles colide, thanks to the extreme gravity a weird reaction was made
Before he knows whats happening his vision goes black.
A giant explosion rocks the planet, alerting the whole world and its goverments
Special forces are deployed to the location of the isolated lab... only to see a giant pit of more than 10 kilometers wide and so deep that the end is not visible
Many in the circle of science mourns the lose of this genius, some said 'i knew this would happen someday', others didnt know what happened and other didnt even care
What the world does not know is that they were on the verge of extinction for some seconds, as a milimetrical black hole was made after the colision of particles. The giant and deep pit wasnt made by the explosion but by the black whole which sucked everything on its range, only dissapearing after a few seconds
Victor body disintegrated leaving only his little soul which was sucked by the black hole, going to a unknow location

A medium size city, in the manor of a recent noble
Inside a somewhat luxury room, a normal looking woman on her twenties with long black hair was giving birth, she was always phisically weak so the delivery wasnt easy
"Ma'am hang in there, just a little more!" The doctor, seeing that she was about to faint, tries to reasure her
Grasping to her last bits of strength she push really hard and finally gives birth but...
"Oh no, the humbilical cord is strangling the baby! Someone get me a scalpel!" The doctors shouts to the servants in the room, making them run around searching for the right tool
Counting in his mind, its been almost a minute
"Damn, this wont do, ill do this like old school. Ma'am please forgive me if it hurts!" Grabbing a dagger he has inside of his robe, he start to cut the humbilical cord, making cry out of pain as the dagger is slowly cutting
After a few second of strugling he finally free the baby, only to see its blue face
"Please dont die!" Getting desperate, the doctor starts to chant weird words while concentrating
Something appears in his hand and flow into the baby. After a few seconds the color of the baby goes back to normal
What he didint know is that the baby was already dead by the time he released it and his magic cant revive the dead yet. The new born soul of the baby already left the body, making its body stop working, and it was at this time that a new soul came out on nowhere from a milimetrical black hole and entered the dead baby body, making him the new owner of the body and making the body work again
Giving a relief sigh the doctor goes to the woman on the bed
"Its a boy ma'am, he is alright now" He gives the baby to the tired mother
While watching the baby on her arms she gives a warm smile
It was at this moment that the door is open by a scholar looking man, he has black short hair and a small but well-groomed beard. He looks like a book person as his body is on the slim side, he looks like a 29-30 years old man
"Is everything okay? is the baby alright?!" Concerned, he asks while gazing around the room. He just happened to see a bloddy dagger and a lot of blood on the bed making his face pale
Before he misunderstand the situation he saw the baby and made a relieved expresion
He walks to the side of the woman
"You worked hard Isa, you need to rest for now, i can take care of him" He was about to to grab the baby when Isabelle, the mother of the baby refuse to leave him
"Well... okay, just dont overextend yourself" Making an awkward face he can only leave the baby with her
"What shall we call him?" He asks while trying to think of a good name
"Maxwell... like that legendary mage, hoping for him to follow his steps" She says without hesitation and stars of admiration on her eyes
"Using the name of sir Maxwell is a bit... Well whatever, many people names his childs after a legedary figure" After some hesitation he accepts
Victor, now Maxwell, open his eyes only to see an unknow woman
'Where i am? Wasnt i...' Confused, he start to gaze around
'Wooden bed with many medieval decoration. Small body or they are giants. Cant open my mouth to speak. A lot of blood in a giant woman while smiling at me... Damn, dont tell me...!' After analyzing the situation he reachs to a conclusion... he was reincarnated, but the most important thing is
'I failed the experiment!... I hope i didnt destroyed the planet after that' A bit guilty after thinking that, he starts to get sleepy
'... If i remember right the new borns start to be self aware in about 1 year' While thinking so his awareness starts to fade as he start to sleep
After a few seconds Maxwell falls asleep, his tired soul falls into a deep sleep
...
Fow the next months his small active part of his soul controled the body in an automatic way, crying for food, sleeping, going to the bath, etc
Just when Maxwell is turning into a year old baby he suddendly jolts and gaze around
'I feel like waking up from a dream when you are always falling' After calming down, he start to see around the room
'So it wasnt a dream, i really reincarnated... How? Was my reincarnation scientific?'
While thinking about my new life, a male servant enters the room
'First of all i need information, lets see...' Searching around the room he finds a bookshelf
Acting like a baby wanting a new toy Maxwell start to reach and point to the bookshelf
"Uh? Whats wrong little master?" The servant asks and after a few seconds trying to calm the kid he saw what the baby is pointing at
"You want to read? I think is a bit early for you but..." While saying that he grab a random book and opens a random page, putting the book in front of the baby who is staying still whilse reading
'Although i was expecting this... Damn, a whole new language' Cursing in his mind, he start to read the book in order to memorise some random words
"Its seems that i need to tell the master to start the personal education earlier" Saying so, the servant procced to take care of the baby for a few hours
...
After a few days of repeating the interest in books, Maxwell father finally calls a teacher
A sunny day greets the man who was leaving his house and walking toward the manor where his new job is waiting
A grumpy teacher enters the house
'I hate to teach those nobles kids, especially from 10 and below... they always behave horribly' While having negative thoughts the teacher greets the owner
"Greetings sir Isaac" With a bow, he salutes the owner and father of Maxwell, Isaac
"Hello Alfonse, i hired you in order to teach my newborn kid how to speak and, after that, to teach him how to read. He seems interested in books" Isaac explains the situation to the teacher
Alfonse doesnt believe anything he is saying
'Interest in books? I think its only a passing interest of a baby in a new toy, i give him five days and he will forget everything about books'
"Of course Mr. Isaac, ill do my best at teaching him"
"Leopold, guide him to Maxwell room, also bring those books with you" After pointing to a few books saying 'Basic speaking for dummies' and 'From hello to Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia, learn everything!'
"Yes sir" doing a bow, Leopold, the buttler signals Alfonso to follow him
'Whatever, job is a job, lets try the best and see if its worth it, who knows? Maybe the baby really is a genius' Having such mentality which has failed him countless times, he walks upstairs
After entering the room the first thing Alfonse is a kid seeing him with anticipation
'Maybe this wont be so bad...' Thought the now not so grumpy teacher
...
5 months later
"Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia" After a few bad pronunciation, Maxwell finally says the long word
"Yes, thats it! After this you can pronounce everything alright!" Glad about his new student, Alfonse celebrates his graduation of speaking classes
"Teacher can we go to writing and reading now? Im curious about whats in those books" While asking this, Maxwell start to watch his teacher on the eyes, pressing him for more knowledge
"Well... okay, just a little for today, but we are starting formal reading classes tomorrow, today is just an example!" Not being able to resist, Alfonse yields
After a few hours of class, Alfonse stops for today. Its night and time for Alfonse to go
"See you tomorrow Maxwell"
"Goodbye teacher"
Alfonse leaves and Maxwell is left alone in the room
'I hope i can learn to read faster, i want to enter my father's library. Im just a kid after all, he wont get mad. Also, having a year old body is tiring, my brain is always sleepy' Having playful tought, Maxwell is about to go to sleep when his mother enters the room
"Hi mum" Although he was a bit awkward at first by calling a stranger mom, after one year you get used to it, and its not like he doesnt feel anything for his parents as they take care of him everyday
"How was your day Maxy?" She calls him by a nickname
"It was fine but... could you please stop calling me Maxy?" With a resigned face he asks just in case a miracle happens
"Sure Maxy" Emphasizing the word now, she answers very slowly
Maxwell: ...
After chatting a bit she leaves the room, leaving Maxwell sleeping on his bed after a tiring day

7 months later
Pen on paper is heard on the room while a smiling teacher watch
This is the final lesson on writing and reading for Maxwell
His final test is to write a simple story of 1 page without errors
A few minutes later Alfonse check the story
"*nods* *nods* Its good, you learnt fast Maxwell, its seems our time has come to an end" Alfonse is now feeling happy but sad as he is graduating this good student of his. Just thinking of going back to the other horrible noble kids brings a chill on his spine
"Teacher, i told my father i want to learn history, could you teach me that aswell?" Yearning for this world's history, Maxwell asks his teacher
"History? Well... i know some of it but are you sure? Its not something a kid will find funny" Making a weird face, Alfonse asks him again
"Yes, i really want to know how we got to this point"
"Okay, i will talk to your father, lets see tomorrow then if nothing unexpected happens"
After Alfonse left, Maxwell goes into a corner of his room and picks up a little book
'Another thing to note...' After writing down important info he starts to read his little book again
[We live in the kingdom of Bluefire and in the city of Azurath.
Our family noble house is named Silverwing and is a new noble family made after father gained contributions while being a Mage.
Its seems that Leopold, the buttler is the most trusted man of my father and is also a strong man, but i heard that he isnt a mage, could it be another form of power?
I also heard that people manifest unique powers at the age of 10, also the power can be anything. I once heard a maid talking about how a mans power was to have X-ray vision, they called him a pervert. I wonder which power i will get, i need to investigate deeper into this
From what my father said, i can start to train to be a mage at the age of 6, as only then the body can bear the pressure and not break]
After checking the whole info again, he stores the book and goes to sleep, waiting for the next day
