Reads like it was written by bad AI on PCP. Can't figure out who is speaking to whom in some chapters. MC almost seems manic. MC spent the 4th chapter talking to himself in his head (I think). I found myself skimming the 4th chapter after re-reading the same couple of paragraphs and trying not to lose interest. Good concept, confusing execution. Hope the next couple of chapters are better.
The MC is an interesting concept. It can be executed well with some work. The author needs to walk that line between manic and being a likable and well fleshed out character. From some of the stories I've read, a fully manic/mentally broken MC without any character growth, development, or positive changes tends to drive off some readers. The first few chapters are rough. Chapter 6 is much better. The author shows improvement as they write. I am looking forward to more chapters to update my review again.
