Why is it that MTL Chinese superhero fanfic have interesting premises but the writing quality is terrible with names being butchered a lot…
[Loki, King of Johtunheim] Completing Missions - Fast Paced. Good relationship with Kamar Taj and Ancient One is kind of a disciple. Magic R&D always going on but not in the later chapters. All in all, RECOMMENDED ❄
I only give this five stars because it's a translation and the one posting it shouldn't be penalized for the story itself. There are so many inconsistencies in the marvel world and has to be seen as a heavily AU fanfic to be enjoyed. Many of the things and developments are not consistent with comic or mcu allowing the MC to do things that don't make sense in the normal marvel universes. The story is also to heavily driven by the MC which doesn't allow for a lot of growth and development in other aspects of the story like side characters and lore. On a more personal issue with the story I am not a big fan of directly giving powers from one fiction to another in most cases as there are exceptions. For example giving conceptual powers like power over frost in this case is fine the connection is legit and makes some sense but specific abilities as seen in the first one it rubs me the wrong way because it lacks imagination in a universe were powers can be limitlessly creative. All that said it is an interesting idea and has a lot of potential but spends it mostly on makeing you cringe.

Bruh chinese writers don’t have imagination i’ve seen hundreds of fanfics and they all have the same system, same cliche and the characters name changes in every paragraph,MC power hungry never satisfied and he wants every anime power in existenc.
0 butterflies which makes this story extremely boring. Just change Loki a bit, give him OP system, then watch him do nothing but get married, have kids, and have his kids do things which don't change the timeline at all. Every storyline from MCU happens, nothing is butterflied away even though it should be. Makes story extremely episodic and boring to read. Though from a Loki standpoint, the only butterfly he cares about is Thanos and thus the only things that might change are related to him, but since you have to read hundreds of chapters of things you already know the original ending to, it is a boring read.
From what I can understand it's a good story I've only been like the first 10 chapters but the grammar was so bad and it was really hard to understand sometimes and he jumped from paragraph and made no sense overall it was terrible but the story did have promise all of you have to do is fix all the grammatical errors.
Ever heard of giving Hulk a steel sword this what I thought after reading this title. Whatever you say I don't think any fruit can surpass casket of ancient winters.
