A towering figure, nearly a kilometer tall, stretched his enormous head out from the clouds of the planet Vormir.
"This feeling of unrestrained freedom really brings back memories!"
"No need to hold back my strength to prevent energy from leaking out and disturbing the balance of the universe."
"No need to sneak into star systems like a thief to absorb star cores."
"I don't even have to be cautious about controlling my voice!"
"This feels so refreshing, I can't help but stretch!"
And so he did.
The Destruction Celestial lazily stretched his body, utterly at ease.
His outstretched arms shredded Vormir's protective cloud layer, and the flames that had quieted on his armor suddenly reignited.
It was as if they had been violently stimulated, growing turbulent once again.
This time, the energy surged directly out of the planet Vormir.
Like a massive volcanic eruption, it shot into space in an instant, spreading far and wide.
"Run!"
Just as the sneaky Bastis reached the cockpit, she witnessed this scene and shouted anxiously at Skynet, who was starting the spaceship.
Boom!!!
A dense cloud of steam erupted from the rear of the mechanical planet.
Bang!
They hadn't flown far when a thunderous explosion echoed around the ship.
Horrified, they watched as the uppermost bedroom and the lowest combat chamber of the mechanical planet were instantly reduced to dust.
Only the central cockpit remained, exposed in the middle of space.
Suddenly, their view became much wider, and from the outside, they could see that the once radiant stars around them had turned a dead gray.
Occasionally, bursts of molten lava erupted from the dim celestial bodies.
"It's energy annihilation that disregards time and space, like the Big Bang of the universe, unleashing immense energy within an effective range, with zero time lag," Skynet muttered, data streams flickering in his usually emotionless, icy voice, now trembling.
"This... this is the power of the Celestials?"
Everyone fell silent at his words. Nearby, the green-skinned Gamora stood resolutely, smiling as she shielded Star-Lord's body in the life support pod.
At that moment, they realized Lorna was missing.
Turning around, they saw a figure wrapped in black metal at the back of the cockpit, her fist glowing with radiant, shifting light.
'So it was Lorna protecting us all along...'
"Oh? She used the Reality Stone to restructure matter particles, forming a complex and shifting quantum force field."
"Then she applied the Time Stone, slightly altering the time axis to cushion part of the energy explosion."
"Impressive, she's made progress."
"This is the true power of the Infinity Gauntlet designed by us Celestials!"
The Destruction Celestial watched lazily from a distance, clicking his tongue in admiration.
Then he bent down, reaching out his hand towards the planet Vormir beneath him.
Even more astonishing, as his hand approached, the massive planet began to shrink, becoming small enough to fit in his gigantic grasp.
In the end, it was like a giant blue marble that the Destruction Celestialheld and played with.
"Perish, mortals!"
The now tiny planet, trailing a powerful flame, hurtled towards the struggling Lorna.
"Annihilation of time and space."
A spectacular rift suddenly tore open along the planet's path, like a mouth instantly devouring the incoming meteor.
"I'm coming, girl."
The dim, gray planet Vormir was originally situated between two intersecting star systems.
But when the fully awakened Destruction Celestial stretched lazily upon it, everything changed.
In an instant, centered on Vormir, an area extending as far as the distance between Earth and Neptune saw all the asteroids stirred by a force field that triggered violent reactions within their star cores.
What followed were intense interstellar explosions, as if someone had ignited magnificent yet terrifying fireworks across the celestial bodies.
Though Vormir survived the initial destruction, it couldn't escape its fate of being tossed like a ball by the Destruction Celestial.
Then, suddenly, a sound echoed through the void. A massive rift appeared, swallowing the planet whole as it hurtled forward.
Where the rift appeared, a gaping hole the size of a planet opened up, vastly different from the black hole created by the God of Destruction's earlier devastation.
This hole was so dark that not even light could penetrate it.
Any light that approached its edge visibly twisted, curving around it. From the outside, it resembled a glowing "white hole."
At the same time, with the appearance of this "white hole," all the asteroids whose star cores had been ignited by the force field could no longer hold together.
With a deafening roar, just as they began to emit a dazzling glow, the asteroids were ground into dust by an invisible force.
The shattered remains turned into an endless cloud of dust, so fine it couldn't be seen by the naked eye, drifting through the silent expanse of space.
"A white hole? Spatial annihilation?"
The flames in the Destruction Celestial's eyes flickered violently, as if they were about to burst out of his sockets.
"The power of death... has attached itself to that void?"
"It's even more devastating to time and space than my own destructive force."
"It seems that Zane Sy, this native of Earth, has already evolved into a seven-dimensional life form."
"Too bad his time axis is sealed off, and I can't observe it anymore."
"I remember not long ago, when he fought Odin, he was only six-dimensional..."
"The speed of his growth rivals even us, the original Celestials."
The Destruction Celestialmuttered to himself, eyes fixed on the mechanical planet where a couple embraced tightly.
"Lorna, I did it!"
"Zane, I didn't let you down, did I?"
The stubborn Lorna, holding the now-returned Zane, said excitedly, her eyes brimming with tears.
"Silly girl, how could I ever be disappointed in you?"
Zane gently patted Lorna's back, which was trembling from her sobs, and spoke softly:
"Haven't you always wanted to know what's hidden within me?"
"No, I don't want to know. I just want to be with you forever," Lorna replied, her quick wit immediately catching onto Zane's underlying message. She deliberately changed the subject:
"Zane, where did you go just now?"
"I saw you enter that transparent barrier set up by the Searcher, and then that red-headed freak pointed at you, and you vanished..."
Hearing the concern in her voice, Zane gently stroked her head and spoke soothingly:
"Don't worry. I've already killed that Celestial Searcher."
"And I have to thank him—he gave me quite the gift."
"Thanks to him, I've now advanced to the initial stage of the seventh dimension."
As soon as Lorna heard this, the gloom on her face lifted, replaced by a joyful expression. But then, as if a new thought crossed her mind, her mood dampened again.
"Seventh dimension already?"
"Even with the Infinity Gauntlet, I've only reached halfway to the sixth dimension, still a full tier behind you."
"Heh, that's why I said we should thank that Searcher. Look at this—what do you think?"
