In the dark void of nonexistence, Jack blinked—or, at least, he thought he did. How could he blink if he didn't have a body anymore?
A soft chuckle sounded, reverberating in all directions. "Curious, aren't you?"
Jack tried to turn, but he had no form, no sense of self. Only a voice and a consciousness.
"Who… are you?" he managed, his thoughts radiating in the infinite emptiness.
"Oh, just your friendly Random Omnipotent Being. Or, you know, ROB, as the multiverse likes to call me," the voice replied, the amusement clear. "You had a good run in that last life of yours, but it's time for something… different."
Jack's memories flashed—his life, his passions, his regrets, the end. The voice chuckled again.
"But let's spice things up a bit, shall we? I'm going to give you five lottery draws to set you up in your new life. Just pray to whatever luck you believe in; some people end up with, well… let's say, interesting choices."
And then, before Jack could question it, a giant, glowing wheel appeared before him, its lights casting strange shadows across the void. He felt a phantom hand reach out, pulling a lever. The wheel spun, slowing down dramatically before landing on his first prize.
Kryptonian Doomsday Blood
Jack didn't fully understand yet, but he knew enough about superheroes to realize that Doomsday was a menace. His body would now be filled with the brutal resilience and terrifying power of the beast capable of taking on Superman.
The wheel spun again.
Space Ring with Anime Treasures
Jack grinned. A ring with treasures from anime universes, drawn once a month, sounded like it had serious potential.
The wheel spun for the third time.
Divinity
Jack blinked—well, he would have blinked, had he eyes. Divinity? That sounded like something gods wielded. Power beyond just strength. The voice chuckled, clearly pleased with his shock.
"Three spins in, and you're hitting jackpots. Maybe you'll be a fun one to watch."
The fourth spin seemed to slow forever before landing on his next boon.
Giant Bio-Weapon Mechanized Planet
Jack's nonexistent jaw dropped. A living, weaponized planet he could control? This was insane.
And then the final spin. It ticked along slowly, almost teasing him, before settling on something seemingly simple.
Keep All Memories
He frowned at the simplicity of it, but ROB laughed out loud. "Oh, that's a rare one! If you hadn't drawn it, you'd be transmigrated without any recollection of this or your previous life. You'd be figuring out all this craziness from scratch."
Jack felt a rush of relief. His memories were his foundation; they'd be invaluable.
The void shimmered, and Jack felt himself being pulled, his consciousness beginning to align with a new physical form. Before everything went dark, ROB's voice echoed one last time, filled with amused satisfaction.
"You're ridiculously lucky. Most people only get one good draw. Go make things interesting, Jack."
---
Jack's eyes fluttered open, greeted by the sight of a gleaming chamber bathed in soft blue light. He flexed his hands—strong, capable hands—and realized he had a body again.
A soft, feminine voice spoke up. "Welcome, Jack. I am Nam, the AI of your planet."
The chamber doors slid open, revealing an expansive view of the planet he was now on. It looked like Earth, with oceans, forests, and mountains, but it had an ethereal beauty, as though woven together by stardust. Above, he could see rings orbiting the planet, shimmering like beams of pure light. He realized they were part of the planet's defense system.
"Nam… explain the capabilities of this planet, please."
"Of course. This planet, which you control, is a living bio-weapon. It has advanced weaponry, protective shields generated by the orbiting rings, and travel capabilities that allow it to move across galaxies."
Jack took a moment to absorb the sheer scale of it all. "Amazing."
As he gazed across his planet's lush landscapes, Jack caught a glimpse of his reflection in the glass. Black hair, blue eyes, a face both handsome and strong, with a body that looked like it was sculpted from marble. He looked… powerful, like Superman but with an edge of intensity.
"Nam," he said, "locate Earth's solar system for me. I want to go there."
"Coordinates received. Beginning transit. Arrival in Earth's orbit will occur in approximately one standard Earth day."
Jack allowed himself a small smile. This was a new life, and he had the strength to shape it however he pleased. He would enter the Marvel Universe with the mind of someone who knew its heroes and villains. And while he didn't yet know what he'd do, he knew he could carve his own path in a world filled with gods, monsters, and legends.
As his planet hummed to life and began its journey, Jack leaned back, calm and composed, his mind racing with possibilities. He was a being beyond even the strongest, equipped with the power of a god, the might of a Kryptonian, and the knowledge of someone who had read the very stories that were now his reality. This was going to be one incredible adventure.
