Looking around, the sky over New York City was filled with continuous gunfire.
The Chitauri army was highly mobile, their unique spacecraft darting between buildings and spreading out to any location they desired.
They deployed forces wherever they needed them.
At this moment, the entire scene was in chaos.
Arthur leaped over the wreckage of a taxi and joined the group of people nearby.
"What's the situation up top?" Steve asked.
"The portal device cannot be shut down, and the pure energy structure is indestructible," Arthur replied. "We might need something with an equal level of energy to close the portal."
"Loki's magic staff?" Natasha suggested first.
Arthur nodded. "So, we need a plan!"
"Who is he?" Hawkeye asked Natasha.
Natasha answered, "He is the Legend."
Steve said, "I've got the police setting up a perimeter."
At that moment, Tony's voice came through: "Has Banner arrived yet?"
"Speaking of which, where is Banner?" Natasha asked Arthur.
Arthur pondered, "I left him at the SHIELD branch."
Natasha thought for a moment. "Did you go to the women's restroom again? Did anyone notice you?"
"We left before they could come out," Arthur shrugged.
Natasha looked exasperated as she spoke. "Seriously, next time you go there, let me know."
"I will," Arthur said. "I'll find Loki and take the magic staff. Remember the battle plan: first, do not let the battlefield expand. Second, the safety of civilians is the top priority. Third, control the aerial battle as much as possible. I'll figure out how to deal with the portal device on Stark Tower… That's it, the rest is up to you guys."
"Understood!" Steve nodded, and Arthur spread his wings and soared into the sky.
He released The Eye of Horus to locate Loki, but before the search could even start, he saw Loki in a Chitauri spacecraft heading straight for him.
The magic staff in Loki's hand emitted a blue glow as it directly targeted Arthur.
In a flash, Arthur vanished from his original spot. "Come on, we need to settle the score for the trick you pulled on me earlier!"
But Loki only smiled and suddenly turned, flying in a different direction.
"Huh?"
Arthur was momentarily stunned. Loki's actions clearly suggested there was a trap!
"But even if it's a trap, I have to go!"
Arthur sighed and, with a spread of his wings, chased after Loki.
While pursuing, he didn't forget to fire a few shots— maybe he could shoot Loki out of the sky?
Though the bullets didn't hit Loki, they did kill his pilot.
Loki's spacecraft spun wildly and disappeared from Arthur's sight after turning around a building.
Arthur immediately followed, tracking with The Eye of Horus. However, The Eye of Horus provided no trace of Loki, nor was the spacecraft anywhere to be found.
"What's going on?"
Arthur quickly arrived at the scene, looking around in confusion but finding nothing.
While he was still puzzled, a blue light suddenly shot out from a nearby building. The attack was so abrupt that Arthur didn't even have a chance to react before his ankle was entangled. In the next moment, he was forcefully dragged away.
With a crash, he smashed through the glass and fell to the ground.
A strong gust of wind howled above him. Arthur activated his psychic shield just in time to see Loki's magic staff strike the shield forcefully.
The collision caused a massive rebound force, making Loki stumble back two steps.
Arthur reached down and pulled at his ankle, where the blue energy had quickly dissipated.
At that moment, a Chitauri with a distinctly different appearance emerged from a corner. "Is this the troublesome human you mentioned?"
Arthur looked at the newcomer with a curious expression on his face. His attire was notably different from the other Chitauri soldiers and he appeared more regal and distinguished. Coupled with his tone, his attitude towards Loki, and his distinctive mask…
"Are you the leader of the Chitauri?" Arthur asked with a deep frown on his face. "Why are you here?"
No one answered him. Loki merely sneered and said, "Don't underestimate him. Although he's just a human, he possesses the power to challenge gods. That's why I need to join forces with you to defeat him as quickly as possible."
"Just defeat him?"
The Chitauri leader sneered, "I think killing him would be easier."
"No!"
Loki said firmly, "This is my war. I need him."
"Only this once… Don't forget the promise you made to me."
As the leader finished speaking, he suddenly punched Arthur's psychic shield.
With a sharp crack, the shield shattered, and in the next moment, the leader was right in front of Arthur, grabbing him by the neck and tossing him back with immense force. Arthur was propelled at high speed, smashing through several walls before finally crashing through the glass on the other side of the building and disappearing from view.
"Is this really a tough opponent?" The Chitauri leader looked at his hand and cast a disdainful glance at Loki.
Loki's expression darkened, and he leaped after Arthur.
However, upon reaching the window, he still couldn't find any trace of Arthur.
The Chitauri leader followed suit. "I don't think he's worth us teaming up…"
Just as he said this, he was suddenly kicked hard in the rear, and in the next second, he was thrown out, while howling his throat out in pain.
Loki turned around to see Arthur grinning behind him, before saying. "Goodbye!"
With that, Arthur kicked out, and Loki's figure instantly vanished.
Arthur quickly turned around and grabbed Loki's wrist. "Got you!"
"And then?"
Loki smiled and leaped, forcefully pushing Arthur out of the window.
With his wings spread, Arthur twisted Loki's arm but suddenly felt a mysterious force acting on his whole body. His expression changed, and his movements slowed just enough for Loki to slip out of his grasp.
A blue beam wrapped around Loki's waist, instantly transporting him away.
Arthur looked over and saw the Chitauri leader, with a fierce expression on his face, bringing Loki to his side and glaring angrily at Arthur.
Clearly, he was extremely displeased with the recent kick to his ass!

Arthur hovered in mid-air, facing off against the two figures on the rooftop.
After a moment of thought, he pulled out the Barrett from his Disassemble Space and fired a test shot.
The bullet was caught by Loki, and although it caused him some pain, it was evidently not lethal.
"Should I say… as expected of a God?"
Arthur considered his next move and drew out a rifle.
He decided to use energy shots.
The best option would be to use the sniper rifle with energy shots for maximum damage, but Arthur's sniper rifle skill was not yet at the Advanced level, so energy shots were unusable.
Holding the rifle and aiming, Arthur had no interest in engaging them in close combat. The gunfire rang out, and Loki's magic staff waved, sending blue energy towards the bullet.
The bullet and the blue energy clashed in mid-air. Due to the incorporeal energy, the bullet was not dissolved by the blue light, and the blue energy charged directly at Arthur.
The result was that both of them had to dodge each other's attacks.
At that moment, a furious roar came from the Chitauri leader. He ripped off his mask, then removed his coat to reveal his extraordinarily muscular physique. The next moment, he crouched down…
"Come on, public urination is not allowed!!!"
Arthur shouted urgently, watching as the leader's legs propelled him off the ground. The rooftop cracked under the force, and with a thunderous boom, he appeared in front of Arthur with a bewildered expression on his face while simultaneously throwing a punch!
With his steel-like body, Arthur managed to block the punch and was about to use his Raven God Wings to counterattack. However, he felt a tremendous force acting on him, propelling him back like a cannonball.
Loki immediately swung his staff, and a blue light surged towards Arthur.
Boom!
Arthur's body was smashed into the wall, leaving a human-shaped indentation on it. The blue light struck, causing a secondary explosion.
As the smoke cleared, the blue light was pinned against the wall, and the Chitauri leader charged in, delivering a powerful punch to Arthur!
Boom!!!!
Another deafening sound erupted, and the look on Loki's face changed.
The Chitauri leader's expression turned grim as well.
As the dust settled, Arthur was leaning against the deep pit, holding the Chitauri leader's fist. His cold voice came from behind the mask: "Did you enjoy your little hitting session? Now it's my turn."
Before the leader could respond, Arthur swung him around and slammed him into the wall.
The leader grabbed the wall, trying to steady himself, but Arthur pulled him back, with one hand still gripping the wall as if obsessively attached to it.
In the next second, Arthur locked onto his throat, pushed off from the wall, and lifted the leader from the pit. One of his hands gripped the Chitauri's Leader throat while the other, charged with incorporeal energy, hammered relentlessly at his face and head!
The blue light flashed as Loki moved in to support.
Arthur spun with his wings, lifting the Chitauri leader into the air. After dodging Loki's attack, he thrust toward Loki.
Loki quickly evaded, hearing a resounding crash somewhere near him as Arthur pressed the Chitauri leader down onto the rooftop.
The leader's back slammed into the rooftop, creating a groove in the ground.
Arthur's knee pressed into the leader's chest as he pummeled him with a series of powerful blows.
Loki watched in shock, his eyes nearly popping out as he looked at the scene happening in front of him. Did this guy really have to be this brutal?
Immediately, he threw three throwing knives, which sliced through the air toward Arthur's back.
With a sweep of his Raven God Wings, Arthur deflected the knives effortlessly before he turned to face Loki.
His mask showed no emotion, and the black lenses revealed nothing. Yet, for some reason, Loki felt a chilling sensation creeping up his spine.
The coldness was intense!
"This mortal is insane!"
Loki was momentarily stunned when Arthur's body was suddenly kicked high into the sky.
The Chitauri Leader, with a face resembling a pig's head, quickly climbed up from the ground. "I'll fight you to the end!!!!"
Still dazed from the previous blow, he leaped up with reckless abandon, reaching Arthur's height. With his hands clenched into a hammer, he swung down with all his might.
Boom!
The loud sound came from the impact with a massive two-handed sword.
This two-handed sword, made in Asgard, was incredibly durable. Despite the overwhelming force, Arthur's body was once again slammed onto the rooftop. He swung the sword, preparing to charge, but then noticed Loki watching from the side.
Arthur, holding the sword, quickly advanced and aimed to strike. However, before he could land a blow, the sword blade snapped in half with a loud clatter.
Arthur, holding the broken sword, glanced at the crack and then at the descending Chitauri leader. He roared in anger, threw the broken half of the sword, and then, with his wings spread, soared into the air and kicked the leader away.
Arthur continued to pursue, delivering punch after punch on the Chitauri Leader's body.
From mid-air, he pounded the leader down onto the street.
Loki arrived soon after, firing blue energy at Arthur from behind.
Arthur leaped and grabbed the Chitauri leader, lifting him as the blue light struck his chest.
Having already been beaten senseless by Arthur, the leader took the full brunt of the blue energy blast. He spat out blood before glaring furiously at Loki but he couldn't do so for long as he was then lifted and shaken in mid-air by Arthur like a ragdoll before being slammed onto the ground.
The impact cracked the ground. Arthur, still gripping the leader's legs, noticed a fragment of asphalt in his hand. The Chitauri leader had hurled it at Arthur's face.
Arthur swung a fist, pulverizing the asphalt fragment instantly.
At that moment, Loki prepared to take action but saw a white, unidentified object suddenly flying towards him.
It clung to his arm, and he was pulled away.
A figure in tight clothes descended from the sky and spoke. "Instructor, long time no see!"
"Spider-Man? It's great to see you, but before we catch up, let me just finish beating this guy to a pulp!"
Arthur glanced at him and continued to mercilessly pound the Chitauri leader. He aimed to beat him to death with his bare fists!
