Capítulo 206: MD-Chapter 205 Banner's Confidence

Maybe it was because of Arthur's words, but Hulk landed, looking confused as he stared at Arthur. He was still holding the black-clad man but didn't smash him into the ground like he had planned to.

Arthur breathed a sigh of relief and glanced in the direction of the convoy.

It was complete chaos over there!

The ground was littered with car wreckage and people rolling around in pain.

Arthur turned his attention back to Hulk, smiling as he said, "Come on, hand him over."

He reached out his hand.

Hulk, however, swung the man behind his back and took two steps back, clearly indicating he wasn't giving him up.

Arthur nearly choked in frustration. Scratching his head, he said, "That's not a toy..."

Hulk shook his head vigorously, then brought the black-clad man in front of him and swung him violently in the air twice. The man, who was reaching for his gun, felt his brain nearly rattle out of his skull, and he was instantly dazed.

After shaking him, Hulk hid the man behind his back again.

Arthur thought for a moment before speaking. "How about we trade?"

He blinked several times, teleporting to the wreckage of the convoy, grabbed one of the survivors, and teleported back to Hulk. Holding the man up, he pointed to the black-clad man in Hulk's hand and then to the one he was holding. "How about I give you this one, and you give me that one?"

Hulk hesitated, then shook his large head twice and continued to swing the black-clad man like a kite in the wind.

"Take it easy, take it easy..." Arthur quickly said. "How about this? I'll trade you a living person."

Arthur had plenty of prisoners from the Freedom Fighters Terrorist that kidnapped Tony stashed in his Disassemble space. He hadn't used them yet, but now seemed like the right time to bring one out for the exchange.

These freedom fighters, who had been stored for nearly a year, were immediately overwhelmed by nausea the moment they were released.

Hulk looked at them in disgust, taking two steps back and shaking his hand again...

The black-clad man's spirit was completely crushed.

*Could you guys at least stop swinging me while negotiating!?*

His arms and legs had gone limp, and if this kept up, he was going to lose the last of his strength to resist.

At that moment, Arthur suddenly pulled out a blue, chubby figure. "Look at this!"

Hulk turned his head and froze, visibly intrigued by the color of the figure's skin.

Jeff, the blue chubby guy, looked around dazed, and when he saw Hulk— a massive green figure leaning in close with curiosity— he didn't even make a sound. He just fainted on the spot.

"Hahaha!"

Hulk suddenly burst out laughing, pointing at the blue figure, mimicking the fainting motion, and patting his belly while laughing uncontrollably.

Caught up in his excitement, Hulk grabbed the black-clad man and slammed him into the ground.

The impact caused the man to cough up blood, while his mind filled with countless curses.

Arthur winced in sympathy, but as Hulk's mood improved, he started shrinking back down to his regular size.

Before long, Banner stood there shirtless, looking around in confusion. "What just happened here? Did those guys call the cops?"

"It was worse than calling the cops."

Arthur put Jeff away and approached Banner, before going down to check on the black-clad man. "Well, it's pretty clear— you knocked him out."

"That wasn't me. That was Hulk," Banner insisted.

Arthur glanced at Banner, then casually stored the black-clad man into his Disassemble space and brought the car back out. "Get in the car and change your pants first."

Banner went to the car to change his pants, and Arthur, now holding a handgun, returned to the chaotic battlefield.

Some of the survivors who hadn't died yet tried to crawl away but upon seeing Arthur approach, they shot themselves in the temple without hesitation.

"Such determination?"

Arthur was taken aback. Previously, these people would use poison to commit suicide, but now they were using guns.

Indeed, their methods of suicide had evolved.

In fact, it was possible to capture a few alive before they shot themselves. However, at the moment, Arthur didn't need any prisoners…

So, Arthur shot each of them dead, ending their lives to "save them the trouble."

After finishing, Arthur got back into the car. Banner glanced at him and then at the scene of destruction. "Tony is definitely going to go crazy."

"There are more things that will drive him crazy coming up."

Arthur let out a sigh and said, "I'll give Tony a perfect explanation for the black-clad man later. For now, let's not mention it to him."

"What happened?"

Banner looked at Arthur. "Does this relate to our team? Do we have enemies now?"

"It's a problem with other members," Arthur said. "I'll resolve it as soon as possible."

"If you need my help, just ask." Banner said earnestly.

Arthur smiled. "There will be a time for you to show your skills, but for now, I'm looking forward to interacting more with Hulk. Can't you sense him yourself?"

"I can sense him… but he doesn't like me." Banner said awkwardly, "It might be because I've always wanted to kill him."

Arthur blinked. "So, we should change our approach with him. You know? He will listen, even though he can be a bit temperamental. I asked him not to kill today, and he listened."

"Really?"

Banner seemed surprised. "Can you tell me what happened?"

Arthur explained the situation at the crucial moment and mentioned the exchange of 'toys' with Banner.

"This kid's interests are becoming twisted. How can he like… playing with people? You should help him develop different hobbies."

"Why do you sound like a worried parent?"

Arthur raised an eyebrow and said, "Don't worry, I'll make sure Hulk develops in all aspects and becomes a good kid who helps old ladies cross the street."

Banner nodded in satisfaction. "You know, this actually seems effective? It's incredible. I think I should investigate related knowledge as well. Maybe in the future, I can really establish some degree of connection with Hulk? Even though it feels a bit awkward, if we can get along peacefully, it would be a great outcome for me."

Arthur started the car and, while chatting with Banner, drove back to Banner's place.

Banner left in high spirits, saying he was going to research some information on infant behavior...

Arthur could only wish him success. After Banner left, he looked at the pair of pants Banner had left behind, raised an eyebrow, and dialed a number on his communicator.

At midnight, Arthur activated the teleportation array in his room, and the next moment, he found himself in a different location.

A sink, a large mirror, and the stalls of a restroom…

To be honest, Arthur was quite reluctant to be here, as the place was rather awkward.

Especially Natasha's half-smiling, half-serious expression always left Arthur feeling helpless in his heart.

Yes, he had arrived in the SHIELD branch's restroom.

"There are no people, no surveillance, and no listening devices here!"

Natasha said, "To be honest, do you think this would be a good place for a meeting? After all, no one would install those devices in a restroom…"

Arthur rolled his eyes in frustration as he spoke. "It's not that no one would install those devices in a restroom; it's that this is a spy agency's restroom. Anyone who dares to install such devices here, especially in a women's restroom… well, I think they'd definitely end up with a rhythmically tragic fate."

"What happened?" Natasha's expression grew serious.

"Didn't the news reach you yet?" Arthur pondered for a moment and said, "I was almost assassinated again today. Did you guys trigger their sensitive nerves?"

"We've investigated…"

Before Natasha could finish her sentence, her phone suddenly rang. She glanced at it, and her expression changed immediately. "It's an emergency call from Fury!"

"What happened?" Arthur asked.

"Someone infiltrated a research facility and stole the Tesseract!"

"How could this happen…"

Arthur was taken aback. Wasn't Natasha supposed to be on a mission right now?

In the movie, Natasha received a call from Coulson during the mission, and Coulson uses unconventional methods to threaten her kidnappers into handing over the phone to Natasha. Arthur found that part quite thrilling at the time.

But now… she is in a restroom?

And she received a text message?

Arthur's daze lasted only a moment before he composed himself. "Who stole the Tesseract?"

Natasha immediately inquired with Fury. After a moment, she had an answer: "He said his name is Loki!"

Arthur took a deep breath. "Forget about Hydra for now; we have a bigger problem at hand. Loki is Thor's brother from the Asgardian Myths, they are real and he is the God of Mischief. I've had encounters with him before; he's quite a handful. The fact that he stole the Tesseract means his intentions are far from simple."

"What could his purpose be?"

Natasha's face changed as Arthur had previously mentioned uncertainties related to the cosmos. At the time, it seemed far off, but now Asgardian gods had come to Earth with clear malicious intent.

Arthur couldn't tell Natasha that Loki's arrival on Earth was merely part of someone else's plan. Many key points were clearly not meant for her knowledge.

So he shook his head before speaking. "I'm not sure, but the Destroyer from the recent 084 incident was sent by Loki. Now he's stolen the Tesseract, which likely indicates significant ambition on his part… From what I know, the Tesseract contains a Divine Weapon known as the Space Stone. This Space Stone has existed since the beginning of the universe and is one of the most fundamental forces in the universe. If Loki has a plan, he might use this gem for something grand!"

"What's the plan?"

Arthur's mind raced with various thoughts. Suddenly, he remembered a specific point from the entire movie.

He recalled a party scene!

Loki once sought an element called 'Iridium,' which was essential for him to set up the Tesseract and open the wormhole.

Under the surveillance of the Avengers, they had accurately located Loki at this address and successfully captured him.

Although Arthur thought being captured might have been one of Loki's goals, if they could use this opportunity effectively, might it be possible to directly capture Loki?

But there was one problem!

When would Loki appear?

The target location was another country. He could get there, but once he arrived, he couldn't just barge in and announce that an Asgardian god was about to arrive for his performance, could he?

"There should be a simpler… and more precise method."

With a flash of thought, Arthur looked at Natasha.

Natasha raised an eyebrow. "Your look gives me a bad feeling."

"I need to infiltrate the Avengers."

Arthur scratched his head awkwardly. "So, if possible…"

Natasha paused, understanding Arthur's meaning, and began to remove her outerwear…

Arthur quickly covered his eyes, not daring to peek, not even with the Eye of Horus.

"Hurry up!"

Natasha's voice came from beside him. When Arthur opened his eyes, he saw Black Widow calmly looking at him.

This woman's trust in him was truly unguarded!

"Thanks for the hard work…"

Arthur reached out, touched her neck, and then stored her in the Disassembler space.

The next moment, his body began to change. He transformed into Natasha, seamlessly changed into her clothes, and spoke in Arthur's voice, "This feels… weird. Am I now a cross-dresser?"

Natasha's phone received a text message from Coulson. Glancing at the content, Arthur blinked. "Going to pick up Steve?"

After thinking it over, he wasn't too surprised.

With Banner and Tony having 'messed around' for so long, coupled with the ongoing ambiguous relationship with SHIELD, Banner had already agreed to join the Avengers.

Therefore, there was no need to persuade Banner again like in the movie.

Thinking of this, Arthur smiled. Indeed, many things had already changed from the original plan… so, will Loki also change this time?

The meeting time was set for eleven o'clock the next morning.

Before that, Arthur, along with Steve and Coulson, had to board the Quinjet to the Helicarrier.

Without wearing a headset, Arthur couldn't speak throughout the journey. Otherwise… the beauty would be silent, while the man would speak!

Arthur had already explained his identity to Steve when they first met.

Though Steve was puzzled about why Arthur wanted to infiltrate the Avengers, he didn't ask further.

Throughout the journey, Coulson, who was Steve's fan, was busy chatting with his idol, naturally ignoring Natasha's occasional 'aloof' demeanor.

This also provided Arthur with a good opportunity to carry out his 'plans'.
