Arthur didn't have to worry much about himself, but Lily's safety had to be considered.
To address this, Arthur drew a teleportation array in his room and made a trip to Kamar-Taj to seek the Ancient One's help.
The young looking old woman smiled and agreed to Arthur's request, promising that once Lily started school, a suitable guardian would be assigned to her.
That way, her peaceful life would remain undisturbed.
When Arthur mentioned his plan, the Ancient One showed considerable support and even suggested that he discuss it with Odin, the All-Father of Asgard.
Arthur reasoned that if he truly wanted to expand the influence of this group throughout the universe, a visit to Asgard might indeed be necessary.
...
...
During these few days, Lily still wanted to draw a picture for Arthur.
However, she only managed to sketch an outline before she had to pack her bags and continue her academic journey.
One morning, Arthur helped her with a large suitcase.
He watched as Lily walked ahead of him, her ponytail bouncing with each step, radiating youthful energy.
"Make sure you eat well when you get home!"
Lily put down her suitcase, looked at Arthur with a serious expression, and said, "Don't stay up late, avoid places with lots of police. Take care of yourself and work hard..."
Arthur blinked, "In the movies, mothers always say that to their sons, right?"
"Go away! Can you be a little serious?" Lily gave Arthur a look and flagged down a car.
"By the way..." Arthur began, "Do you still like... Instructor?"
Lily was taken aback, turned to Arthur and suddenly grinned, shook her head and said, "Not anymore.
...
...
The lively girl was on her way back to school.
Arthur stood by the side of the road and watched her for a long time, then smiled.
The girl's advice to avoid places with a lot of police was mainly due to her concerns about his "undocumented" status.
To this day, she still believed that if Arthur were discovered, it would lead to very troublesome problems that would be hard to resolve.
So whenever they went shopping and she saw police officers, she became even more anxious than Arthur, always trying to hide him behind her.
Arthur wondered where that fragile little body found the courage to do something like that.
After sending Lily off, Arthur's next plans were about to unfold.
...
...
It was eight in the evening!
The location was an underground warehouse owned by Stark Industries.
The goods stored here had been cleared out by Tony two days earlier.
The only people present were Arthur and Banner.
The reason they had come here and had Tony clear out the place beforehand was because Arthur wanted to have a serious talk with a certain green behemoth.
Banner had refused at first, but he finally agreed to this 'mad' plan.
Aside from Arthur's persuasion, it was mainly because he had seen the Abomination.
This hulking figure, over ten feet tall, should have enough strength to save the situation if things got out of hand.
So as not to make the Hulk feel tense, only Arthur and Banner were present at this time.
"Let him... come out," Arthur said while looking at Banner.
Banner blinked, nodded, and took a deep breath, "What should I do?"
"...Are you seriously asking me that?" Arthur was stunned, "Get angry!"
"But I'm afraid I won't get angry..."
Banner looked embarrassed.
Arthur thought for a moment and said, "I could find some pictures of pretty girls to make your heart race and your face blush; that might do the trick."
"..."
Banner's face darkened as he spoke, "Can you stop joking around?"
"What then?" Arthur shrugged. Normally, he didn't want the Hulk to come out, but now that he did, he didn't know what to do. It was quite a dilemma.
"Let me think..."
Banner took a deep breath, "Let me think of something unpleasant..."
As he spoke, his skin visibly turned green, his muscles bulged, and his clothes ripped apart.
Arthur's first reaction was to check Banner's pants... and fortunately they were intact!
Only then did he look up at the green behemoth before him.
Without speaking a word, the Hulk swung down a massive fist!
The enormous fist, accompanied by a gust of wind, crashed into Arthur's head.
"Steel bones!"
Arthur thought quickly and raised a hand above his head.
At the moment of impact between his arm and the fist, a fierce wind howled, and Arthur said, "Hulk! Calm down!"
Hulk tilted his head, seemingly puzzled by how much stronger this guy was than he expected, and prepared to strike again.
But when he raised his fist, he found that... Arthur was gone.
A voice came from nearby: "Big guy, you need to learn to control your emotions."
Hulk ignored Arthur's words and reached for his own shoulder.
But he grabbed nothing as Arthur reappeared right in front of him. "I think we can communicate effectively instead of fighting to the death. Calm down, you can do it!"
Arthur held out a hand and looked at Hulk calmly.
Hulk turned to look at Arthur, tilted his head, and then let out a roar.
The roar, accompanied by Hulk's breath, hit Arthur in the face. He sighed and said, "Let's talk this out... And remember to brush your teeth."
Hulk frowned, seemingly not understanding Arthur's point, and looked down at his pants before continuing to roar at Arthur.
Fortunately, this time he only roared and didn't strike.
Arthur thought for a moment and then he spoke while feeling a little embarrassed, "Your pants from before are gone... um, how about I get you a few more pairs in different styles?"
Hulk looked confused.
Arthur sat down and said, "Let's sit down and talk about this."
Hulk stared at Arthur as he sat on the floor. After a while, he sat down next to him and continued to tilt his head and watch Arthur.
Arthur was a little confused himself. Was Hulk suffering from a stiff neck as well?
Clearing his throat, he realized that simple language might not work; Hulk seemed like a child without the ability to communicate verbally.
"Maybe we need something to catch his attention." Arthur suddenly had an idea but looked at his Disassembler space and found nothing suitable to attract attention.
There were still quite a few guns, but would they work?
"Roar!!!!"
Hulk roared again and started pounding the ground with his fists.
The ground shook, and Arthur quickly pulled out a gun, saying, "Look, a toy!"

The moment Hulk saw the weapon, he was startled and raised his hands in a defensive posture.
Arthur blinked, and after a moment, Hulk realized that the expected pain was not coming. He then focused on Arthur's face and the gun in his hand.
Hulk's expression changed from calm to angry. Just as he was about to roar, he saw Arthur place the gun on the ground and push it toward him.
The large figure scratched his head, looking somewhat confused.
He pinched the weapon with two fingers and, in a fit of rage, crumpled it into a ball and threw it violently away.
Boom!
A black iron ball embedded itself in the wall.
After that, Hulk laughed heartily.
"Hahahaha!"
The laughter was hearty, and he clapped his hands as he continued to laugh.
Arthur blinked again and looked at the Disassembler Space but found nothing new to use. The weapons were still there, but he couldn't keep using them to entertain Hulk, could he?
Before he could finish the thought, Hulk, who had been clapping and laughing, visibly shrank and returned to Banner's form.
Banner took a deep breath and looked around in confusion, "What happened?"
"It went better than I had expected," Arthur said. "At least he didn't destroy the place..."
Banner looked at the chaos around him and said, "Are you sure?"
"There's not much I could do; Hulk would pound the floor when he was upset," Arthur sighed and added, "And this time the transformation was quite brief. I thought we'd have more time to communicate with him."
"Is he communicable?" Banner asked.
"Yes, but he seems to need some learning," Arthur thought for a moment and said, "He has not yet mastered speech. If he could learn to speak, it would certainly yield different results."
The two left the underground warehouse where Tony and Dr. Connors were waiting outside.
When they came out, Arthur was unharmed, while Banner was left with only a pair of pants. Both were relatively pleased with the outcome.
"Actually, I always thought it would be a giant green monster coming out," Tony looked at Banner's pants, "just like the legends, amazing pants."
"Let's not mention the pants and we can still be friends," Banner said with a somber expression on his face.
The worst moment of his life was probably when a masked idiot stole his only pair of pants one day in New York.
And now that idiot was standing right next to him, he had almost forgotten that grudge.
"Not mentioning… pants…"
Arthur pondered and felt that the topic might get rather unpleasant, so he said, "By the way, Hulk seems to care a lot about pants as well."
"So he didn't kill you after all?"
Tony asked in surprise, "If it was me..."
"Why not try?" Arthur looked at Tony's pants as he spoke.
Tony quickly grabbed his belt and pointed a finger a finger at him before speaking, "No, that joke is not funny at all!"
Dr. Connors was more concerned with the outcome, "So what actually happened?"
Arthur glanced at his hand, where a previously empty space now had an arm that looked perfectly normal.
In fact, it was a prosthetic.
The high-precision component from Stark Industries, designed by Tony, used neural links to achieve seamless control, and the outer layer was made of highly realistic materials, making it virtually indistinguishable from a natural arm...and Dr. Connors thought it felt the same.
"Let's talk about this later," Arthur said as he and Banner got into the car.
...
...
Their destination was the Stark Tower, but before they could get back, Arthur had already discussed what had happened earlier in the car.
After hearing this, everyone shared their opinions.
Dr. Connors speculated, "It seems likely that Hulk might be another intelligent entity spawned from Banner, similar to a form of dissociative identity disorder? There is some degree of mutual influence, and if Hulk were to be considered the dominant personality, his mental state might still be... like that of a child?"
"So Banner essentially gave birth to a child!"
Tony's view was rather unconventional.
Banner's mouth twitched as he completely rejected this explanation.
Arthur said, "Although Tony's comment is rather exaggerated, it's not far off. Hulk is a volatile child who needs soothing and patience. Right now, everyone is just attacking Hulk... When he saw the weapon I pulled out, his first reaction was not to attack but to defend himself..."
Banner fell into a deep silence at these words.
Dr. Connors and Tony exchanged glances, with one driving while the others gazing out of the window.
Arthur patted Banner on the shoulder, not knowing how to comfort him... Is this what new parents go through? He'd never been a parent himself, so he had no idea what a parent's mind was like. Banner's situation was different from that of an average parent, with no real interaction between 'father' and 'child' possible!
Besides, saying this out loud might cause Banner to become upset and bring out the Hulk again, which would be quite problematic...
The group remained silent. After Tony drove Banner and Dr. Connors home, he looked in his rearview mirror and saw that Arthur was gone.
As he was about to turn around, Arthur's voice came from the passenger seat, "What are you looking at?"
"If you keep disappearing like this, you're going to give me a heart attack sooner or later," Tony sighed heavily.
Arthur looked at the device on Tony's chest, which had turned into an upside-down triangle.
The plan for the perfect serum had ultimately become a fleeting dream. Its only real use had been to bring together people who were otherwise unrelated.
Although Arthur believed he had reached a high level of understanding in genetics, it was still not enough to address the fatal flaw in the perfect serum.
He had previously discussed this with Connors and Banner, and the consensus was to temporarily shelve the project.
If a future opportunity or new discovery arose, they could revisit it.
But definitely no Tesseract!
Banner was especially adamant about this.
Arthur, who had previously also kept his distance from the Tesseract, now found himself more inclined to ask Fury for the Tesseract. He was very curious about what had triggered the Tesseract's power to such an extent that even though he was so far from it, it still sent him flying into space.
There must be a connection.
"Let's find a larger space; I need to discuss something with you," Arthur said, setting aside his thoughts as he spoke to Tony.
