Capítulo 83: Her Priority

Cassie slammed the door of her father's room once more, but instead of hearing his voice, she heard a loud crash from inside. Her eyes widened, and she desperately tried to open the door.

Damn it!

Cassie couldn't wait for him to open the door for her. She hurriedly made her way to the living room, searching for a way to unlock her father's room. She noticed her brother's panic, but there was no time to calm him down.

She was trembling, unsure of what was happening to her father there. She quickly grabbed the wooden broomstick that was leaning against the door and rushed back to her father's room.

With all her strength, she struck the doorknob, hoping to break it open.

"Dad!" cried out Harold beside her, already in tears.

Cassie clenched her teeth and continued pounding the doorknob with the broomstick. She struck her target multiple times until it was completely destroyed. Her hand throbbed with pain, but she ignored it.
