Capítulo 273: Half-Sister

"What is it?" Aiden asked, "I don't like that look in your eyes. I'm not going to like what you say either, right?'

"Very right." Matteo sucked in a deep breath before he quickly dealt the finishing blow. The quicker it was done, the faster Aiden would get over it. "We have ample evidence to believe that Emmeline is your half-sister."

Aiden staggered back as if struck. His face paled automatically, and his hands began to shiver. He shook his head, slowly at first, then more wildly as the words sank straight into his bloodstream and entered his mind. 

No, no, no!

He was so shocked, he hadn't even realized he nearly screamed them out loud. Matteo hurriedly clasped a hand over Aiden's mouth, the same way Aiden's mother did to shut him up. If circumstances weren't so dire and fucked up, Aiden would find it highly ironic that his mother and Matteo had similar ways of dealing with him.
