Capítulo 2: Yay! A new start!
After regaining my senses, I feel like I'm surrounded by something liquidy. My mother's womb I guess.
After waiting for a long time, I'm finally born!
"Its a girl!" a nurse smiles, taking me to be cleaned and have tests done. When all of the tests came back positive, I was given to my mother.
I look her over and she's very pretty even throw all the sweat and tears. Actually she reminds me of Lily Potter, we were good friends, but this lady looks a lot younger. Like she's in highschool.
I look around and see I was born in a muggle hospital, this girl must not have wanted to have me in the magical world. And yes I know she's a witch because I can sense it. [Thanks Ar-on!]
"So Miss Evans, what would you like to name her?" the doctor asks.
[Wait! Evans was Lily's maiden name! So this is her, but this must be before she married James. I wonder what my father's name is?]
"I would like to name her Luna Eileen Snape, my middle name and her father's mother's name," she replies, cradling me in her arms, looking at me warmly.
[Well that answers that question. My father's Severus Snape! And I only know that because I knew his mother! What the heck?! I didn't know Lily and Severus had a thing! I knew he loved her but I didn't thing she loved him more then just a friend.]
"Is here father here now," a kind nurse questions.
"No, he is busy right now and I didn't want to bother him," she shook her head.
[I bet he doesn't even know. Sigh~]
"Do you have anyone here to take you home Miss," doctor also sighs.
"My aunt is here, I should be going soon," she replies.
"Alright, but first I would like your signature for your daughter's birth certificate and then I would like you to rest for a bit," he rubs his head, she nods and does as he says. We then take a nap.
After awhile we leave and go to a orphanage, we go in and she leaves me there.
"Bye my Luna," was her final farewell before she left. Leaving me with the head worker, Mr. Carlos. He takes me to a room and just leaves me in a crib. Not saying a thing.
~Time: 6 years later~
I have been in this orphanage for this entire time! That Mr. Carlos must not want to allow me to be adopted, because whenever a family comes in he hides me in a room.
And what makes it worse is that almost all the older kids bully me. Especially a boy named Charles, he just absolutely hates me to the very core of his being. And I don't even know why.
Anyway, he gets away with it cuz no one cares enough. But it doesn't bother me really I just wish he would act more his age. But then again, I am a few thousand year old soul inhabiting a 6 year old body, so I digress.
Every day, I practice my magic, I can do it wandless and wordlessly. Yay! I don't do any accidental magic so no one would suspect that I'm a witch.
I can't wait for my acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Because I mean it, this is the boringest place ever! Other than being bullied by Charles and his friends there is nothing happening.
One night, a creature visits me in my dream, and I immediately know it's my familiar. It's a majestic black wolf with lapis eyes. It comes and nussles me with its snout.
I pet it and when I wake up I have a little black puppy lying at my feet. I giggle and pick it up, hugging it.
"Hi Kage Ha," I smile, it looks at me with those beautiful eyes and I ask it if it can turn invisible, it just nods and does so. I can still sense its location and such but to a muggle, they wouldn't even know it was there.
From that day on we bonded as close friends and she can be a bit sassy and protective.
~Time: 5 year later~
On my 11th birthday an owl gave me my Hogwarts letter and it explained all the usual stuff. And that some people will be coming to take me away from here.
That night, I dream of absolute darkness surrounding me. Then a enormous Thunderbird. As it runs to me it jumps and we become one. When I wake up I've shifted into my Thunderbird form. I immediately shift back as to not alert the other girls in the room.
[I'll have to be careful with that form until I leave this place.]
I go back to sleep and dream of my time in Hogwarts, an longing to return.
A few weeks later I'm in the detention room for being thrown at a younger boy. When I am called to Mr. Carlos's office.
When I arrive, I knock on the door and open it to see three men discussing something. One of them is Mr. Carlos, the other two are what I assume to be from Hogwarts.
I look closer at the younger of the two and see a black haired wrinkly man in black cloaks.
[Father!]
I control my excitement and nod in greetings to them.
"Miss Snape, you will be going with these men to their academy Hogwarts, go gather your things and come back here," Mr. Carlos orders, I nod and leave. I didn't have much to begin with so it didn't take long to pack them.
I return to the office and my father leads me out with Dumbledore.
"Are you ready to go buy all your school supplies," Dumbledore asks, giving me a playful grin. "Mr. Snape will take you around and help you get everything you need."
Then he walks away, leaving my father and I in silence.
"Are you really my child," he asks, looking at me.
"Yes, but if you don't believe me, we can go to Gringotts and have me tested," I reply giving him a serious look. He nods and takes me to the alley next to the Leaky Cauldron.
We enter and go to the brick wall, Father does a spell and it opens up to Diagon Alley. We go straight to Gringotts and up to the head goblin.
He speaks to my father and I overhear some goblins talking about me. I go over.
"Yes, is there something you want to say to me," I ask in goblin. They both look at me in amazement, after a short silence. "That's what I thought."
I go back to my father and a goblin leads us down a short hallway. Knocking on a door and goes in. After speaking to the goblin inside he comes and asks us to enter.
The old looking goblin behind the desk talks to us and explains to me how they will be test my blood.
He takes out a quill pen and old paper, I take the quill and it uses my blood as ink. It doesn't really hurt but I could tell that it did something to my finger.
I write me signature in my crimson red blood and then some blood spreads down and says everything about me. It has my age, my parent's names: Lily Potter and Severus Snape, and just said different things about me.
Thankfully it didn't say anything about my animagus. After that Dad did all the proper paperwork to legally Grrr take me as his daughter.
Then we had my allowance discussed and what would become of my account my mom had made for me. It was all transfered and dealt with.
We left and when to my father's house, a little rough home on the outside. It was his childhood home, everything inside out out was very old and covered in dust.
Together we cleaned up and removed all the old furniture and stuff. I got the room that was his and he used magic to destroy all the old furniture.
We went out and bought all new furniture for the whole house. And also some new muggle clothes for me.
We got home and and started organizing all of our new stuff. Once that was done it was pretty late so we went to bed after dinner.
