Capítulo 229: AT CARAMEL

The four day journey to her land was a smooth one and with no unnecessary drama. Although their was a little quarrel now and then by some people. Magdalene was bored out of her mind Sometimes, but she wasn't allowed to even say hi to anybody because of the stern guard. Although many who tried to approach her were shooed away like flies. Books were her companion and she badly missed euphoria. Sometimes watching the water gave a kind of comforting feeling. She would sometimes here voices in the water as if talking to her. She couldn't make do of what they were saying but she could clearly hear them. Even the waves and everything seemed to come alive. Sometimes Magdalene was itching to control the waters and try magic but she didn't dare succumb to the temptations or even get her identity exposed. When the four days were finally over she couldn't be more happy.
