Naexi grunted softly and slowly opened her eyes, her breathing soft and her body feeling recovered from the battle yesterday. She stretched and looked around her room, pausing as she noticed me sitting beside her bed with my arms on the bed and my head resting upon my arms.

She sat up slowly, hearing soft jingling and looked down, noticing the Brisingamen around her neck. She stared at the beautiful necklace in disbelief then looked back at me. 'He actually gave me the necklace...? Did I win..? No...I certainly lost since he's still alive. Why would he give me this necklace..?'
