Capítulo 89: Sick

A loud harsh rampant banging on the RV door startled me awake. I jolted out of the bunk bed, checking in on the kids only to find them missing from their bed. Panic buries itself in my body and I force my way to living area..

Relief hits me when I find them petting Micah. The harsh banging hasn't stopped and no one is doing anything. 

"Who the fuck is that?" I grunt, rubbing my eyes with closed fist. 

Did I miss something while I was asleep? And how long was I asleep for?

"We don't know."

"Then why is no one stopping the noise?"

"Dante said to avoid the door." Lynx hops onto her feet, she grabs me by the arm and pulls me back towards the bunks. "You need to rest more, Elle. Your temperature was hotter than normal."

I blink at the little girl. Adorable that she cares so much for my health but I'm fine. I pressed two fingers to my forehead, shit I'm burning up. 

Maybe Lynx is right.
