"Minerva." His eyes narrowed at her as he perceived she was up to something. "Your place is with the other girls. Should in case things go out of control, you are to assist Astoria in getting them out of there," he reminded her.
"I know."
"So?" Xander inquired of her.
"I want to do more than babysit." Hearing this, Jade balled her fingers into a fist at her side.
If not for the fact that Xander had decided on this and she knew it was for her safety, she would not have allowed Minerva to go with them.
All of a sudden, Jade felt a hand rest on her shoulder and pressed softly to calm her down.
Although she did not bother o look at who it was, she could tell from the perfume the person warned that it was Astoria.
No sooner had she finalized her guess than Astoria spoke to her. "Let it go. It isn't worth it."
"Yeah." Relaxing her muscles and fist, she watched the play unfold.
