It frustrated Ayana that in the end, she had to be the first one to start a conversation. If it would've been the old Eric, she must've recieved showers of apologies by now.

He was a cold hearted bastard who wouldn't even bother to look at her. God knows what was going on in his mind that he looked so focused on the road.
A half an hour has already past and they had been doing nothing but driving from squares to squares in the same neighborhood.
As far as Ayana's vision could reach, there's not a single soul she can find in these dark lanes. But for strange reasons, his car is still circling around and refusing to leave despite her constant protest.
"Alright. We're here." The zipping sound of the seatbelt bought Ayana's attention back to the present and she flinched to see him getting off.
