Capítulo 31: Chapter 32

At present, I couldn't explain nor escape.

After the client's meeting, Karthik sends office assistant to meet. Unsteadily, I walked to his cabin.

" What happened? Why is your face so gloomy?" Karthik asked me

I cannot tell the truth nor hide the truth because he can read me.

" That...Vinod and their family are new to me. So...I am nervous about marriage. I think every girl gets nervous about it" I lied with a fake smile.

" I am so worried about you when I saw your gloomy face in the morning time. Don't be nervous. We all are there for you." he said.

" Okay. I will go back to my work" I left for my cabin.

I have no concentration on my work.

In the evening I got a call from aunty and uncle that after one week, marriage dates were fixed. Marriage is in one week. Arvind and Shreya's marriage is in the morning hours and my marriage is on the next day evening.

All my energy drained away with that news…..
