Capítulo 28: To The Mountainside

After dropping Leila safely at her apartment, the car turned towards the grandiose estate as Yvette laid contented in Zeke's loving and warm embrace.

Soon, the car rolled to a stop and Zeke quickly stepped down opening the car door for her with a bow and she stepped out giggling.

As Yvette stepped inside the house, she was welcomed by the comforting scent of a delicious home cooked meal . Her muscles a hed from the long day but the warmth that filled that air lifted her spirit immediately.

"Welcome back home, Madam" . Zeke said behind her, his eyes shining with the tenderness she always found herself falling into.

"Is Mrs Lawrence already around?".

"Nope, I cooked as usual. I asked her to take a few more days off work so she can wholeheartedly take care of her grandchild". Zeke beamed as he replied her.

Yvette giggled . "Are you sure it's for her to be able to wholeheartedly take care of her grandchild as you've said".
