Capítulo 91: Chapter 81
Nozomi got intrigued by the books at the side and picked up a notebook that had Umi's writing on it.
"This is where you jot down ideas for lyrics, huh?"
"Yeah, Umi-chan handles that, before we gave it to Hiroto and Maki-chan," Honoka said smilingly.
"Huh?" Nozomi got confused.
"Kotori-chan usually writes the lyrics, then the one who comes up with new steps is Umi-chan," Rin said with a raised finger.
"Yeah! They take care of it nicely." Honoka praised.
"Then, what do you do?" Nozomi got puzzled.
"Hmm~m, hmmm, I eat food, watch TV, and get wowed from watching other idols. Oh, I cheer on the other girls too." Honoka got excited as she raised her arms on her chest closed arms and remembered the time of their brainstorming in her bedroom, she was usually alongside the two while they slept in her house during night overs and it was fun.
"Ha~ha." Honoka lightly chuckled.
"That's it?" Nozomi asked.
"I've been meaning to ask you something. How come you're the leader of U's, Honoka-chan? Hiroto-kun said it vaguely that it just happen." Nozomi looked at her.
"Iyaah~h, does it matter?" Honoka rubbed the back of her head.
"It matters, the leader should be the one that leads everything. It was slightly weird seeing Umi-chan managing everything if she wasn't the leader." Nozomi said in a higher tone.
"Ohh~h, then we just had to elect a new leader?" Rin suggested.
"That's a good idea!" Honoka agreed.
"Aren't you going to get angry about it?" Nozomi questioned her.
"Why?" Honoka looked at her confused.
"No, it doesn't matter." Nozomi lightly smiled.
Afterward, Nozomi asked Honoka more questions before Hiroto came and brought some snacks and dessert to them.
"What this?! Is this a new sweet product?" Seeing Honoka energetic made them smile and laugh.
"Don't talk, just eat.." He smiled. Everyone tasted the sweets and they chewed it in their mouth. The flavor gushed out from the sweet.
"So delicious~!"
"Sweet~!" Rin happily said as she cupped her cheeks while closing her eyes, feeling the sweet and flavorful taste.
"Nozomi-senpai, you can interview Honoka's parents now. If you want to, they are downstairs waiting." He said.
"Oh, then I'll do that, Honoka-chan can you?" Before Nozomi stood up, she got another bread and put it in her mouth before making way down.
"Oka~mpfuh~" Honoka reacted, but before that, she picked up four bread on her hand while her mouth is full and was munching the sweets while looking at him from time to time.

Hiroto was talking with her parents, and they were quite eager now that they learned about him. Yukiho who overheard their laughing and a voice she didn't know, so out of curiosity, she goes downstairs and saw someone was with her parents.
Her eye's wide-eyed and surprised before turning into an elated one as stars enveloped her unusual colorful eyes. She was usually embarrassed and shy, but seeing her idol in their house is a dream come true.
"Are you Hiroto-kun? That Hiroto-kun?!" Holding both his hands, Yukiho eagerly asked as she leaned her body towards him.
"Eh, how do you know him Yukiho, have you met him?" Her mother Haruko asked. She introduced herself earlier.
"You don't know him, I told you in the past. He was the streamer from Onee-chan's school! Look, I am not mistaken." Yukiho energetically said.
Yukiho kept her speech about his endeavors. It was her fangirling self before showing her collection of soundtracks on her phone and his streams. The Kousaka parents turned speechless and mind boggled.
'Is this the daughter we knew?'
"Is it a great deal?" Akio asked curiously. Seeing him playing piano in the video got him intrigued again. This boy was good at many things, and it satisfied him, Haruko's reaction isn't better than she also had a great impression about him.
"It is! Wait, don't leave now you got it? I want an autograph from you!" Yukiho said out loud.
Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. He gently said as she shook his hands. With his approval, she quickly heads to her room missile speed and got down in just a moment while bringing a notebook and a pen.
He wryly smiled as he writes his signature on her notebook. They took some pictures too while he got interviewed by her eagerly.
After watching the videos of him for some time, Honoka's parent eye's had an interest, Haruko asked him abruptly.
'Arisa-chan, you can't overcome my greatness, muhahaha~ha.' Yukiho who was holding Hiroto's signed things was grinning.
"Do you have feelings for my eldest daughter?"
"Oneechan? My muscle head sister? How is that possible?" Yukiho turned speechless. Honoka who was listening at the side felt her face scrunch up.
'I'll get back to you later Yukiho~o....'
"Gehk, I just felt something bad just now." Yukiho wiped her sweat on her forehead.
'They're peddling their daughter now?' He wasn't in the right mind to say something bad for her. Looking at Akio, who was seriously concentrating on him with a suggestive face, he didn't have any choice but to make a good word for her.
"Ummm, I won't say I don't have some thoughts about her. She's bubbly and likable. She can turn our mood for the better." He smiled.
"Is that so...." Haruko grinned.
"Ohh~h.." Akio nodded with his slitted eyes and head back to the kitchen.
"Honoka? What are you doing there? Come here~" Haruko made a 'come here' gesture with a bright shining smile, the same for her understanding father that was nodding with crossed arms.
Every mother's intuition was always good, she can even sense her daughter from afar. That's a good skill for you.
Honoka was listening to their discussion and hearing her mother's pimp suggestion made her want to smack her head.
"Mou~ Okaa-san and Otou-san going to bully me! Don't talk anymore, Hiroto-kun! Come upstairs!" Honoka made her escape in her room with a blushing face.
"My!" It was the first time, Honoka lost her energetic self and turned into just a shy girl that happened to saw her first love.
Haruko put her hand on her cheek and thought of something. "Iya~h, She's so embarrassed, we should prepare some snacks for your friends, help Akio in the kitchen can you?"
"Okay..."
At least now, he knew Honoka's past and her things. It was so interesting, as she seems filled with good luck no matter what happens or that's what her father told him.
"She's our greatest light, be sure to check her in school."
"Eh? Right..."

'It looks like they had agreed to talk about who will be the leader of the group.' He felt his scalp twitching. It doesn't matter, and he liked that Honoka was the leader and even though she doesn't do much, at least she motivates and had become a pillar of the group.
"Who should be the leader? We should have discussed this when you made me the president of the club." Nico was leaning on the table while holding her hands with a serious face.
"The leader, huh..." Maki thought about it and looked at her side. Hiroto had told her about it, but she doesn't care since it doesn't matter that much.
Holding hands beneath the table is pretty convenient. She kept on twirling her hair with a smiling face that doesn't hide her happiness.
"I'm fine with Honoka-chan leading though." Kotori suggestively said.
"Yeah, I agree with that." Umi nodded as well. The trio was the one that made the group, so changing it now doesn't matter.
"Forget it. Couldn't you tell from the interview? She's not cut out to be a leader." Nico insistently said so.
'You just want to be the leader... Luhh~h.'
"I have to agree with that. But do we have to change? I mean-" Maki felt it was troublesome to do so, Honoka wasn't a good leader and they complement each other, so she didn't care about leader matters at all as everyone had their task.
"We just have to designate a new leader and soon. We've got the PV to think about too." Nico said with raised hands.
"The PV?" Kotori asked.
"If the leader changes, that means the center position will change too." He said.
"That's right! The new leader will take the center in the new PV!" Nico continued.
"Huh~" Rin got confused.
"Make sense." Maki nodded.
"Maki.."
"Well, I don't care that much, I don't want to be the leader," Maki looked at him for a moment before speaking out her thoughts.
"You gave up your rights! Don't take that back later." Nico grinned.
"Hai~hai." Maki nonchalantly said.
"But who will it be?" Hanayo asked.
Nico stood up and turned around the flip whiteboard. It seems she was prepared that things will turn out like this.
She proudly posed and made her speech. "What makes a leader a leader? First off, she's got to be more passionate than anyone and capable of motivating everyone! She's got to be compassionate and capable of lifting everyone's spirits! Above all else, she's got to be someone whom every member respects! The member who satisfies all these conditions is..."
"Umi-senpai... right? nya~." Rin suggested. Nico who was posing suddenly tumbled with a *gohoo* sound.
"What the hell?!" Nico said.
"Me?" Umi turned surprised before looking at Honoka.
"I think Umi-chan can become a great leader!" Honoka smiled.
"But are you fine with that?" Umi who doesn't want to replace her leadership asked, she didn't want to be the leader even if they asked her.
'We're fine with Honoka's leadership though..' Nico's criteria perfectly fit Honoka's personality and everyone doesn't dislike her after all since she made the group. Everyone thought of so, Nico was just being hard about it.
"Huh? Why wouldn't I be?" Honoka felt confused.
"I'm about to replace you as the leader." Umi got somewhat sad at her behavior.
"Huh? So what?"
"Don't you care at all?" Umi asked again.
"Welp, she doesn't care about it seems but I think it's better if we don't change her as the leader." He suggested.
"Yeah, Hiroto-kun's right." Kotori agreed.
"I agree!" Maki nodded.
"Un!" Hanayo said.
"Umm. We'll still be working together as U's, right? Umi can become the leader if you all want." Honoka said with a smile.
"Then what's the point of what is just said? You don't care about being a center?" Hanayo asked and stood up at her place.
Feeling Honoka's complacency made her irritated since she didn't want her to get replaced by her position. She idolized her from the start and even though she joined the group.
She didn't want others to replace her original role. Honoka, Umi and Kotori's role at Hanayo's life made her and it was her turning point, because of them.
"Oh! I see!" Honoka got her input as she a gesturing hand and think contemplatively before looking at them.
"Oh, well! It doesn't affect me that much." Honoka crossed her arms.
"What?! You don't have a problem with it?" Umi looked at her with
"Let's say you're our new leader, and.." Honoka got interrupted.
"W-Wait a second. I can't do it." Umi turned skittish.
"What are we going to do with you?" Maki sighed helplessly.
"Why do we even have this conversation?" He rolled his eyes. The others agreed with him before looking at the instigator for a moment before looking at their opposites.
"It's the leader, you know? It's being at the center! We should choose the leader based on their seniority." Nico stood up and butted at the talk.
But she wasn't able to get their attention. They spoke to each other and forgotten the standing third-year senior.
"Then, how about Kotori-senpai?" Hanayo asked.
"What? Me?" Kotori shook her hands, denying that she wasn't fit for the role.
I guess that leaves only one other person."
"She feels like the vice leader type." Rin suggestively said.
"But it'd be strange to have a first-year as the leader. What do you think, Hiroto-kun?" Hanayo said and inquired to him.
"I guess that leaves only one other person."
"Let's voice our thoughts based on the majority," Hiroto announced. Everyone agreed, Nico who was standing up didn't seem to hear him at all.
"I vote for Honoka-chan, I think she should still be the leader." Kotori was the first one.
"I guess that leaves only one other person."
"Umi-chan can become the leader but I will vote on Honoka-chan this time," Maki said.
"I guess that leaves only one other person."
"I agree with Honoka-senpai as well," Hanayo said.
"I guess that leaves only one other person," Nico repeated her words, until she 6 tick marks on her forehead. Umi agreed without a hitch.
"Rin? What about you?"
"I wonder, you had the majority vote so we don't really have to do this you know?" Rin made her *:3* curved mouth expression.
"Then, it's settled since it's unanimous, Honoka will still be the leader." He said and stood up. Until Nico slammed the table with a red face.
"Wait, wait. You're forgetting about me! How about we have a karaoke battle to see if who's better at leading the group?" Nico suggested.
"Karaoke?" He thought it was a good idea. Trying out a new place with the group seems to be fun.
"I haven't gone for a while," Rin said and looked at Hanayo who had a bright smile on her face.
"Yeah~h, I want to go to!"
"Then, let's go now and have fun~!"
"I haven't tried out how to Karaoke." Umi felt somewhat
"Are you even listening to me?" Nico sighed helplessly.
