I gathered Joanna at my apartment and took all the pans and utensils on the table.
When she walked in and saw me next to the kitchen table waiting for her she frowned her eyes, "do you need help to tidy up the silverware?"
I laughed, I walked to her and took her hand to drive her closer to the table.
"I need cooking lessons, I have weeks out of work so I want to spend them practicing my cooking skills. You have to teach me the basics. At least how to cook vegetables pasta or something easy for when our baby will grow."
"Oh..." Joanna was struggling not to laugh, maybe she found me pathetic but we had the kind of confidence that I didn't even care what she thought of me.
"Alright." She glanced around the table in search of something then she grabbed the oil and a pan.
She began cutting the vegetables on a chopping board.
