Nanites received the command of Alex and dispersed into the walls to go and devour the metals at the bottom of the organization. They all divided into teams and dived into the metals and swam towards the bottom floor where the entire floor is made of various levels of concrete and metal plates.
The flooring was divided into 5 levels, 3 with concrete and two with one-meter-thick metal blocks placed throughout the entire area. Like a ravenous pack of wolfs they started devouring the metals with such speed and vigor. Watching the Nanites Alex was filled with excitement at the prospect of a huge increase in their size. Even by conservative estimate the levels of metal will be over 100 tons or more, and if Nanites them completely they will have a huge increase in their capabilities.
Alex watched as the Nanites devour the floor and he then controlled a small group of Nanites and had them move at the end of the base and arrived at the place where the mysterious person and Viper were. He then moved towards the end of the path crossing the elevation platform and towards the end where there was a two-meter wide and two-meter-long door. This was from where the mysterious person returned back to somewhere and haven't been seen after 2 days.
After exiting through the door Alex noticed that it was a elevator, he spread the Nanites around the elevator and found that it moves down wards into the ground. He then had them slip through the elevator and free fall down the shaft of the elevator which was covered in concrete and after over a minute they reached the ground.
"Dang! How deep did they dig through the Ice and the ground and for what purpose, the elevator was at 1600 meters below the ground and now with over a min of free fall I must be over 3000 meters deep in to the ground" Alex was flabbergasted at how deep he was in and was increasingly curious as to what is present here that they had to build It so deep. Even though the entire place was pitch dark Alex was able to see clearly as Nanites don't have any limitations with visual interference.
The surroundings were changed from concrete to a metal surface and the path travelled horizontally and the surrounding were covered with infrared cameras and automated security weapons, everything seemed calm but behind the walls were those weapons hidden, if anyone comes inside without the knowledge they would be shot to sieve and dead before they could even pass through a few feet. The Nanites travelled along the path when a weird feeling stuck him, the feeling was faint but it felt like it was calling out to him.
"Huh!! What's this feeling? I felt like someone's beckoning or calling me? No…no..no..it's not calling me. It's beckoning the Nanites" Alex muttered to himself and was about to ask Animus about it when Animus itself spoke.

All this happened in a few seconds, making Alex confused. So, he questioned Animus "Animus, explain the situation, what is this modular-77 AFK and who are you connecting with?"

"Wait, you mean you are not just the only part that arrived on the earth, but there are also many Nanites on earth?". Alex face darkened and brows scrunched up when he thought of this situation where he wasn't the only person to wield Nanites.

<<A module of Nanites will go into hibernation mode if they are separated away from the main control and or not connected by the Commander or they will follow the pre-established condition>>
<<The case being: After the destruction, they will drift in the space until the Main controller appoints a Commander or go into hibernation until the main control finds them and activates them>>
<<Even if any main controls are present, they would not be able to controlled unless they are commanded by the Commander, in which case it is you Commander that controls all Nanites, no matter the modules or Main controls>>

Alex exhaled after finding out that he was just thinking too much. He then became excited as he thought of acquiring more modules of Nanites as Animus wasn't the only thing on the earth and there must be more parts of Nanites on earth and this place must have them and that must be the reason why there is such a big facility and deep underground secret place.
'If the people of the organization have found out about the Nanites then even governments must have known about them as this organization must be supported by some government to operate and work in secret. Sigh… this has just made the situation a lot trickier than it should be…' Alex thought to himself as he made Nanites follow the path and find the place of origin of Module-77 AFK.
