"Kye... what is the best method to master a cultivation technique?" Myrina asked as she swung her sword in the pattern of the first form of the eight sword slashes.

It was the second cultivation technique her father had mentioned and after practicing the shadow tread for the entire night, 

Myrina had not felt quite like taking a rest yet and so she had come out to practice the second cultivation technique.

"Real life combat." Kye replied in his usual curt and direct manner as he watched Myrina practice.

"Real life combat..." Myrina murmured quietly wondering where she would find an opponent.
